I think it was a CL600 but most top range merc,s have em , took a fair bit of mods to fit them but i was stripping my lights to repair the adjusters and paint the bezels anyway , so did them all in one go  I had to fit the merc bulb holder in the zed headlight , bit of cutting and grinding and hey presto !! Below are the bits robbed off the merc lights. The zed light on the right with bulb holder removed ready to glue in the merc one I repair alot of merc,s at work , perk,s of the job !!

Waxoyl, Leaks & Undersealing Advice
You can get Waxoil in aerosols if you,re gonna do it yourself , any bodyshop will have undersealing guns , should,nt cost too much to have it done . Might be worth while checking your car over underneath before undersealing to check on the brake and fuel lines for corrosion cos they,ll probably get covered and mask any potential problems .HTH :D

"We don't need no stinkin' badges"
Go to a motor factor and get a Caramel wheel , these are designed to remove double sided tape and stripes without damaging the paintwork , its a soft rubber wheel on a mandrel , put it in a drill and rub all the tape off , works a treat and only takes a minute to do.

Strange Steering Problem !!!
Has anybody else got AVS alloys on they seem quite common on imports , or has anybody fitted Pirelli P Zero.s on there zed ???? The reason i,m asking is after having my alloys refurbished i fitted Pirelli P Zero,s all round , i knew my tracking was out so i got it into work and did a 4 wheel alighnment , rear track was slightly out and the front alot out , camber and castor was in tolerance , sorted the tracking , job done i thought. When driving now at slow speeds my car seems to want to follow every bump and hollow in the road , the steering pulls from side to side trying to follow the undulations in the road surface , its quite alarming Would wheels with the wrong offset cause this , i don,t know the offset of these wheels i,ve got :headvswal or could it be the tyres as it pulled a bit before changing to Pirelli,s but i put that down to the tracking being out    These are AVS alloys Thanks

remove black line without damage?
There is a bit of kit out we use in bodyshops called a ' Caramel wheel ' which is basically a soft rubber wheel on a mandrel which you put in a drill and it rubs the line and glue off without damaging the paintwork , cracking bit of kit , any good motor factor should have them . HTH
