  6. Yeah, that does look nice mate. Nice colour.
  7. errr... perhaps just a bit too fast :2guns:
  8. I think with most fibreglass one a little bit of jiggery pokery is needed to make them fit perfect, but i have not heard anything bad about the fitting of Zcentre stuff. CarMad on here does fibreglass replicas, and everything i have from him fits bob on first time, so perhaps if you speak to him and see what spoilers he does? Anyway good luck with the search

JapShow @ Santa Pod on Sunday 4th also
  10. I might well be going as well, should be a good day.
  11. Gum, chew gum like its going out of fashion. 1) it helps give your mouth something to do when it wants to inhale. 2) increased mastication (chewing) increases the production of the stomachs digestive acids - so any extra pounds you might be gaining due to face stuffing will be reduced a tiny bit. 3) put all the money you would normally spend on fags into a jar so that you have a visual aid - you will be surprised how quickly it will build up. This is pretty motivating on its own. 4) I found that lollies help as i know they are not great for you, but you can almost mimick the action of smoking with them. (ie bit of something sticking out your mouth, tappping as if removing ash etc) which helps with the habbit part of it. 5) if you drink tea or coffee, move over to a propper coffee (ie with coffee grounds etc) the cafine hit might reduce the need for nicotine. (all you have to do then is wean yourself off the coffee when your done lol) Mate - best of luck with it all, and well done for making the first step - once you have done 3 weeks you should have broken the back of it (ie physical addiction)- and the rest is in your mind from then on. Good luck - keep us posted
  12. There's also japshow @ santa pod i think on the 4th
  13. EEK EEK.... No Dave you are right, and after sleeping on it, there is no way in hell i shall be selling. The "discussion " that we had last night which resulted in my thread was, on the surface about the cars, but things have been a bit tight money wise recently, and really it was about the fact that we cant afford a house at the moment, and we both want to get one together. Also i had had a crappy day at work, so i didn't help myself by being up for a row anyway. Anyway, gave her one this morning, she went off to work with a smile, which always helps :whistling:
  14. The Rocco is not worth more than £4-500 to be honest, and as i keep saying to her - for that sort of money i couldn't replace it so it's not going anywhere. (and it allows me to have the zed on classic 2nd car insurance - saving me bout £400 on ins premium) Zed to get fixed in time and rocco to be used in the meantime.
  15. Mate you are a star, thanks P
  16. I know which i'd have out of the two and it wouldn't be the rover look alike
  17. I'm just about to catch up on the top gear now as i missed it on tv... good old internet
  18. not too sure about that mate :scared:
  19. paid £1500 spent bout £1000 i guess now - 2 trips to zedworld and a few body bits and wheels etc. I am hoping someone has some discs to help me out.
  20. My point exactly - it would have to go out as a breaker, which would break my heart as it's in pretty good condition. low milage no rust (JeffTT said it was really clean underneath)
  21. 1990 TT Auto LWB. My MOT is about to run out, I cannot afford to replace the discs and pads, which will need doing,(well defo the front ones, not sure bout the rear) My missus is chewing my arse to get rid as i have a scirocco sat in the garage not being used. (bit of a row just now - hence this thread) everything else is pretty sound with the car. I've only ever had work done by Zedworld Its been chipped, has a blitz induction kit, single piece oval tipped mongoose blueflame exhaust. (zedworld) Leather seats, leather interior retrim 17' 5 spoke alloys Smoothed rear tailgate, smooth side skirts and a Greddy gracer smooth rear bumper extension (as sold by CarMad) Check out my rides to have a look. I don't want to do it, but i might have to just to prove a point. I want to SORN it and deal with it when i have a bit of spare cash, but i would be interested to hear what you lot have to say. Thanks for letting me vent a bit! :taz:
