That is one rude car mate, not to keen on the back end to be honest, but i'm loving that front bumper, and i haven't seen those rear wing vents before, they really suit her. She is a beauty, one hell of a car to inherit! Also you have put down 3.1 ltr - has it been re-bored etc? Mate that has to be the rudest car in the uni car park by miles :clap:

I dunno what the name was - he sold me a couple of big jars which he poured out of a great big tin. The stuff is brown and gloopy, and very sticky. Some sort of contact adhesive. To be honest i have far too much to do what i need so if your in the area drop me a line and you are welcome to have one of the jars of the stuff. ps i'm in didcot so the other side of Oxford, but there is a free jar of this stuff waiting for you bud. :thumbup1:

Chris i got a set of 55W 6000K HIDs from ebay - they were about £50-£60 i think. Unfortunately one of the ballasts was not holding charge properly (came on sometimes then off etc) I bought another ballast, again off ebay for about £15 as i couldn't be arsed with dealing with customer services in Hong Kong. They now work perfect and i am happy with them. Alternatively Dan @ DTA - but he is a tad more expensive but easier to get hold of than a dude in China or Hong Kong i suspect. :chinese:

I hear ya, but at the same time perhaps he wants to cash in on his own story, and i guess he has every right to do so as it is his story (I know there has been talk of a confidentiality agreement in place which will obviously have an impact) But i can't imagine that he gets paid anywhere near as much as the other 3, yet he has all the skills, perhaps he just wants his piece of the pie.

Well i went to see them at Newtrim in Oxford and he reckoned that he'd want £100 per panel to do it!! I ended up getting a couple of jars of the correct contact adhesive that they use and a bit of advice instead to try again myself. Annoyingly when i returned to the car later this afternoon the jars had leaked onto the boot carpet which now has what looks like a great big snot stain daubed across it. Grrrr looks like it's gonna cost me loads now anyway as i will need to get a new boot carpet too!!

I know quite a few rich people really, having been lucky as a kid and going to a posh school. I guess the richest person i know would be an old mates dad: David Samworth of Samworth Brothers (they own Ginsters amongst others) He was ranked 155 in last years times rich list - down over 50mill from the year before, but higher in the rankings surprisingly.

Having tried to re trim my interior not too long ago, and having had the rear quarter panel bits lift due to using crappy spray glue, I removed them and tried again this weekend, only to give up due to not being able to get it quite right. My question is this: does anybody know anyone who can recover these two awkward panels. I just wanna get looking right. Cheers in advance.

Tis a parking mast! was an optional extra on the jap spec, helps little people know where the front of the car is! I was thinking about putting a little flag on mine and hoist it in traffic in the hope that people will think i'm a diplomat and let me pass... :surrender:
