  1. i can't wait to see it finished dude, she'll look lush. So what are you doing with your 99 spec spoiler? Did you buy one in the end?
  2. I'm not too sure about the bit in blue to be honest mate? I would probebly not put this in, it does not help your cause, although you may have a valid point that there are others who may be being treated differently than yourself, but it implies that you and others have some sort of greivence with your foreign workers. I might add something about the fact that there are others who you feel are being treated differently, (and perhaps give a specific example, while not mentioning any names) but i wouldn't specify the fact that it is the foreign dudes. It may be true in this case, but when someone within the management structure see that, they will start to think racist... even if you are clearly not one, and you have quantified that fact by expressing that you beleive in equal ops. It is a sensitive area, and i know that most managers will err on the side of caution. Also I would avoid calling anyone above you in the chain of command "Management", it creats an "us and them" feeling, which i am sure is not what you intend to do, so i have altered a few to things like "my line manager etc" Oh yeah, and you will need to make the I's capitals. I hope that this helps and goes some way to sort out the work situation and you are offered a contract in th enear future. Just as an aside; I would also add, that although in your own word "it's not a competition" with regards to picking numbers, ultimately your managers will be looking at the bottom line, which in this case is how much is picked in a given time.... So if i were in your position i would look to pick as many as possible while still maintaining accuracy not just pick enough to cover the 108 necessary.... Just my 2 pence worth though. Like i said, just my 2 pence worth, and you may think that all my alterations are unnecessay, but I am just trying to help bud. Good luck Paul
  3. I think also you would have to use a TT torque converter and TT propshaft (slightly different length)
  4. The guy selling this has recently joined on here boys, subbed as well. G60badboy, seems like a nice bloke who has posted a few threads bout a box etc. I only know as he replied to a thread i stuck up for Vods bout his autobox for sale. I think he would rather keep her, but was quoted £1750 by a garage local to him for a autobox swap!!!!!! Some people - you can get a manual conversion done and dusted at Zedworld for less!! I did tell hiim that a 2nd hand box and refit could be done for a lot less so...... who knows
  5.:lol: and it was latin just in case you really were interested mikey
  6. They have though cos here we are talking about how crap it is.. clever stuff... and i whole heartedly agree, possibly one of the most annoying on at the moment.... especially when you considerthe fact that if they had sold their car "quick quick" through We Buy Any Car they certainly would not be rubbing their hands grinning like "gimps" as you put it, they would in fact be rubbing their ass and cursing the fact that they were so desperate for a quick sale that they got royally shafted like a load of pulp fiction gimps, and given about £500 for a car worth 4 or 5 times that! Try it - phone em up and see what they offer you...
  7. Nice, alas we came second last! Ii did win a box of dodgy turkish delight in the raffle though... cost me a tenner in bloody tickect and was the last prize left
  8. you too seem to be a man of considerable useless knowledge, could of done with you the other night at avillage pub quiz... we were not so good. :whistling:
  9. You do throw up that ban sign with alarming frequency young sir. :euro: what you been drinking to night then... its addled your brains, and messed with your synapses :wack:
  10. Royal mail.... from the old days i reckon when it really was the royal mail.
  11. ...errrr i think that it should do mate, BUT, I am sure that someone with more knowledge than me will be along soon to correct or confirm.
  12. mate, that is one sexy fat assed zed... oh nice sig by the way
  13. Hi mate, you should have a sump plug on the bottom of the sump, i think that it was only the very early ones which didn't. Even if you didn't you wouldn't need a special tool, just a 10mm socket as you would have to remove the whole sump, but would get very mesy under there! I think that you can also get a syphon type pipe that you can feed down the dipstick tube to drain, that might be what they were talking about? Shouldn't be a problem though as i think you will find that you have a drain plug... have a little look mate, it should be on the passenger wheel side of the sump, bout a 17 or 19mm if i recall. Here you go mate, you could do it yourself to be honest, check out this guide: http://pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.216 HTH :thumbup1:
  14. lovely example - dodgy auto shifter.
  15. Seriously mate, try the fluid swap and clean out the filter... yours sounds like it is doing exactly what mine was. I got a good few extra months of use before i bit the bullet and went manual. Also for the sort of money they are talking about you can get a manual conversion done by a Zed specialist not too far from you.
  16. Can people come to watch and just pay an entry fee as opposed to the whole track day fee? It's only down the road from me.
  17. Here you go buddy: http://pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.216 :thumbup1: Oh and welcome to the club by the way, lots of friendly help and advice round here.
  18. Hi mate, check out my thread - nice smooth box with torque convertor. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=146944 BUT have you changed your fluid first and cleaned the filter in the sump yet? MIght be worth trying first - could save you a few quid? What you are describing happoned to my box, and the filter was all clogged i managed to get a few more miles out of it by swapping the fluid and cleaning up filter. There is a step by step guide on one of the sites, i'll find it and post a link if you want.
  19. The pleasure was all mine, i got to meet Jo and his lovely family, and we had a few laughs over lunch. Unfortunately i was subjected to a Supra owner trying to tell me that his car was far superior than the 300zx.... Now i know the Supra is a great car, and stock for stock perhaps even better than the Zed, but i certainly wasn't going to tell him that! Lovely genuine people and a great sounding car too boot, I can't wait to see it when it's finally how you guys want it. I too am looking forward to all the upcoming events this summer where we can drink far too much, drool over beautiful cars and generally be merry. See you soon Pabs
  20. cool mate, i've got a golf match at 10 - so won't be around till bout 2 or 3 though. i had better get to bed i suppose!
