i hear what your saying, but it seems that even alloys that cost thousands when new don't seem to fetch too much... Anyway what has caught your eye that is nicer than those wheels?

I dunno mate, but i guess a decent set of used alloys with rubber would be anywhere between £200 - £600 depending on condition, tyres etc.

I thought that they would be pretty crap to be honest, I just want to clean my Scirocco engine bay up a little bit. She's done me proud these last few months while the zed has been getting a gearbox transplant and i wanted to show her a bit of TLC..... Got some scala white seats and interior coming too.... bring back the 80s baby!! :rolleyes:

Pleased to hear that you finally had a meeting about this, perhaps writing that letter was a good cathartic excersise, and allowed you to formulate your thoughts about the job, It probebly helped you remember everything that you wanted to say in your meeting, so allthough you didn't need to send it, maybe it was a worthwhile excercise. Mate if your lucky enough to be in a position where you can keep both, then i guess its just a case of weekdays and weekends or rainy days and sunny days! ie M3 for the former and the zed for the latter.

That retrim is a bit lairy for me, but looks super quality, where did you get it done and how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking.
