I would hazard a guess that they don't suffer the same percentage of serious road accidents either in NZ. Plus their speed was 100 kph and IIRC they have far lower speed limits than we do on average. On a serious note though speeding is targeted to reduce road accidents and increase motorists safety and when it can cost in excess of £1,000,000 to investigate a fatal road accident you can see why the GOVERNMENT encourage the various road safety campaigns.

It also seems they require professional fitting apparently as fitting is critical, they may not be installed correctly hence the sag? However I am no expert just based on review etc...
