TBH if people get caught speeding do we need to post it, accept what comes and stop blaming the police for your own actions. Perhaps people should research some crime figures and persons arrested before they start talking about speeders being easy money, traffic police are only a small percentage of total police out their catching criminals. The only difference is people don't come on here and say "Oh, got arrested last night for burgling the neighbours house!" so you don't hear about the arrests just the speeders.

We all know the risks, would you go to a casino and bet more than you could afford? I would hope not.

We are too ready to moan for a police officer doing their job and when they let you off they are great (not doing their job) yet if you went to a garage and they DIDN'T (ie not doing their job) fix your car you would be fuming? At the end of the day the police officer has done nothing wrong by sending you to court, YOU were the one seriously exceeding the speed limit. Even more so if a police officer lets you off then that is a form of corruption and they should be disciplined and who wants a corrupt police service?
