I think its the leather against plastic I can hear, Its pretty annoying actually, in comparison the e46 Im driving at the moment is quiet as a mouse! cant even hear the engine wailing when I thrash the pants off it! :) Haven't heard the fly wheel complain or the air pump whinge yet... Car is pretty low mileage though so perhaps thats all still to come! :)

going well mate, fast as fook and I luuuurve the noise it makes when it revs really high, doesnt sound too stressed at all, quite comfortable with having the arse thrashed off it!! :) Arse out action is soo easy its great, Im guessing cos the suspesion is so well sorted it makes it easy for a muppet like me! Had a few issues, fooked sunroof, and bloody lights dropping off (badly replaced front bumper it turns out on closer inspection) its back at the garage now being sorted (for free of course under warranty) so I have an e46 328ci at the moment, which is nice in a boring kind of way, but not a patch on the M3... cant wait to get it back! does your creak (think its coming from the seats) when you're driving slow on a bumpy road? anything under about 25mph and its really annoying, go over that and it all seems to stop... very odd...

Print this out, put your number on it and send it off to them, Im sure it will do the trick.. EDIT Like a fool that should have said boobs/arse+legs... cant be bothered to do it again, but Im sure it wont matter... :D

:rofl: I get that loads too, especially cos mine is a saloon and there are hardly any of those about so everybody assumes its just got some M badges stuck on it!

the delayed torque thing (or the bit that shoves you into your seat as I call it :) ) is missing, same with the M3 but I can forgive it for that... it just seems to slow revving... a manual would be better, the gearbox is pretty poo on it... makes me realise how damn good the auto box is in the zed.. its an e46 so a fair bit heavier than the e36 so possibly explains the sluggishness... possibly a little harsh last night, got in from a longish drive with dry roads and no other cars around and was just a bit let down! :) I'll get back in my box now!

god a '00 328ci courtesy car from the garage at the moment, good god, for a supposedly "sporty" car its soooooo slooooooow, must have got used to the 280BHP thing too much, the zed was quick, the M3 not quite so but still fun, the 328 is a complete dog, takes FOREVER get get the revs up high when accelerating and the "switchtronic" auto/manual thing its got is the biggest pile of crap I have ever used, would warn anybody off owning one of these heaps... its shit...

Hi kay, I dont know what to say mate, Im really sorry you're having problems with the old girl... Im also really confused, it just doesnt make sense that OD isnt working... for me it would always change up into 4th at 120mph not 140mph, maybe im going senile... :) and if you're pootling around 4th definitly works cos if you click off OD it will noticibly change down a gear.... hope its a quick fix... whatever it is...

or if you're in the south, head down to blackbushe for the sunday market, excellent stall there will do ANY shape ANY size ANY lettering for only a few quid... (must sign a little disclaimer that they are show plates only of course!! )
