  1. No problem Steve - let me know when you are ready. By the way have you tried contacting my local(-ish) Nissan dealer, Polesworth Nissan, who has generally been very good at supplying parts. I recently got my new TPS from them without having to wait weeks! Tel: 01827 895-125 ask for Alan in Parts. You may be given a new number as the parts department has just moved. HTH Danny
  2. Oh bugger ... here we go again with the Microsoft vs Netscape saga ... a bit like the auto vs manual story! :) Have done some research and it would apear that: (1) Netscape can not interpret certain inline style elements as generated by MS FrontPage -- and -- (2) I have set the frames borders to zero (0) which Netscape doesn't like either. Looks like I'll have to redo the website for Netscape. So for all you Netscape users out there, bear with me - I'll get it sorted in a while. In the meantime I do apologise for the inconvenience. Regards,
  3. Kierash, I am the guy who sells the ConZults in the UK. Have a look at our website DTA-Motorsport.co.uk where you'll find all the info you require to order one. We also have a section in the Trader Section of this forum. Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards,
  4. Stuart, Are you using Netscape as well? A load of people using MS Explorer have been able to access the site without problems so I'm starting to think it may have to do with browser type. Sorry buddy, was hoping my web design/publishing problems were over but apparently not ... Will look into it and see what I can do. Thanks for letting me know. Regards,
  5. James, Rings are currently not in stock (in the UK) yet but are on their way :). Have the battery tie-down in stock now. S/S brake lines: try Jeff at ZedWorld or Luke at the ZCentre S/S hard pipes: Smithy Give me a buzz (evening) on 07044-016586 if you like. Regards,
  6. James, Yes - will be part of the group buy. Keep a look out for them in the trader section. Price: £32 if ordered individually (i.e., no other items ordered) £29 if ordered as a separate group buy item (need 10+ orders) £26 if ordered to complement a cover set during group buy (i.e., you buy a full set of covers + add the speedo rings) GB details to follow in a day or so. Regards,
  7. Sorry about that Tim. Don't tell me I need to make a Netscape specific version as well ... ?! Took me long enough to put the current one together. The site uses frames - perphaps that is the problem for Netscape. Must admit that I know nothing of Netscape ... I'll investigate and see what I can do. Thanks for letting me know Tim and my apologies. Regards,
  8. Hi all, Just a quick notification to announce with great pleasure that the website of DTA-Motorsport.co.uk, http://www.dta-motorsport.co.uk, is finally up-and-running and open for business! You may encounter a few bad links and/or non-functioning forms but I am still in the process of streamlining the site. We ask for your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience. Coming in the next day or so will be two group buys: (1) A'PEXi PowerFlow induction kits (£100 ea incl. p+p) - for 300ZX (Z32) and Pulsar/Gti-R (possibly for 200SX's as well) (2) GZA Chromed Engine Parts - i.e., chrome speedo rings and sets of covers (various prices - see group buy info when posted) (covers will fit most Nissan applications) The specifics will be posted in our trader section. The site also includes the latest prices for the entire product range and there have been some changes (= savings :)) in respect to the price sheet listed in the initial post in the trader section. I will update that as soon as possible. I hope you will find our products of interest and we look forward to doing business with you. Kind regards,

Yep, am trying to get a little trader's spot for this event. Either way I will be there with goodies in tow! Won't be taking the car down the track though - still want to go home in the afternoon ... LOL :) See you there! Danny info@dta-motorsport.co.uk

Hi guys, I should be able to make it to this meet. Having organised the last big meet there (Easter 2002) am looking forward to just showing up and enjoying it! Will bring the ConZult and some chrome engine bits ** plug for DTA-Motorsport.co.uk ** along as well. See you there! Danny info@dta-motorsport.co.uk "Supplier of ConZult, Chrome & A'PEXi bits"
  12. Hi Steve, Danny here - we met a couple of times at Jeff's ... If you are coming to the Z meet at The Boat Inn, Solihull, this Sunday I could hook up my ConZult for you while we change the TPS - will give you an accurate reading of what voltage it is being set too and way easier than sticking in a volt meter. Let me know if I can help. Alternatively we could meet up at some other time. Regards, Danny info@dta-motorsport.co.uk
  13. Thanks very much for that explanation Shane. I am going to call my hosting company (oneandone.co.uk) during my lunch hour and see what they have to say for themselves. As far as I know, I bought their MS Hosting package which includes full FrontPage support/extensions and they also sent me a copy of FP 2002 so I must assume they are fully capable of dealing with an FP "Publish" command. I do have some forms on the website and am a newbie at webpublishing so am not sure what you are talking about when you say "cgi scripts for form handling ..." but I'm quite sure as we're talking MS hosting this does not apply. I'll let you know how I get on and will most probably PM later today or tomorrow to take you up on your kind offer. A little less Desperate Dan ... PS - I have used CoffeCup Direct FTP quite successfully in the past and may have to resort to that if the FP thing doesn't work.
  14. Thanks guys, MTL: The password I typed in during the install only works when I open the FP web. When I want to publish the web it doesn't accept that particular password. GIO: Hi mate, yes - they do support FrontPage and the server extensions have been installed too. 300ZX_Newbie: I am currently running Windows 98 SE - not sure if your disc would work with that. I'll do a search on the internet to see if I can find something similar for 98. Guess the search goes on ... Still Desperate Dan
  15. Hi all, I am desperate, frustrated and genuinly in a foul mood because of another of Mr Gate's applications - FrontPage 98 this time. I have spent countless hours for many days putting together my dta-motorsport.co.uk website. Finally get it all done and lovely, hit the publish button and ... "administrator password required for action" ...?!? WTF? I have tried every password I have ever used (even my bank account pin numbers ...) but no joy! The copy of FP98 I am using is a clean install and I was only asked once to input a password during installation - which I have written down. When opening the website the password I need to input works lovely but as soon as I want to publish it just won't accept it. Does anyone on here know a way around this? Or perhaps a way to reset the administrator password which seems to be hidden somewhere in the registry? Thanks in advance for your help. Desperate Dan ... info@dta-motorsport.co.uk
  16. Final picture of the rubbish bin camera! Danny info@dta-motorsport.co.uk

  18. Here is the latest invention from Holland to catch speeding motorists. This really pisses me off - what happened to good old policing ... Regards, Danny info@dta-motorsport.co.uk
  19. I don't understand why people's 100W converted light bulb keep blowing. I bought mine from Halfords last year April (!), soldered on an earth lead and they are still working fine ... having said that they will probably blow in the next few days now :) What you need to make sure of when soldering on the new earth lead is that (a) it makes a good connection with the bulb, (b) you're using a propper electrical lead, i.e., a 27Amp lead, and © that the lead makes good contact at the earthing point on the car. Oh, and don't touch the glass bit of the bulb with your bare fingers when handling the bulb. HTH Regards, Danny info@dta-motorsport.co.uk
  20. Hi there! In addition to what Captian Gio has said above I'd advise you to have a look at http://www.mobil.de and choose "suchen", fill in 300ZX etc and see what comes up. It is a German car sales site with a lot of interesting looking Left Hand Drive 300's. I have three friends who have purchased highly modified 300's from there each boasting unique paint jobs. Good luck! Regards, Danny info@dta-motorsport.co.uk
  21. Hi Kia99, There is a grommet in the firewall in the area next to the battery. Take the battery and the battery tray out of the car, look at the firewall towards the ground and you'll see a round rubber grommet with a little pipe coming out of it. This pipe is for the aircon condensation. On the inside of the car you'll have to remove the ECU and the box right above it and you'll be able to see the same grommet - it helps if you're a contorsionist as it means lying on your back with your backside uncomfortably resting on the door sill. I spent three days moaning of lower back pain after I pulled my power cable through ... In any case, you can take the grommets out (either side of the firewall) and pull your power cable through. Pushing the grommets back in will be a bit more difficult but not impossible. Good luck and let us know how you get on. Regards, Danny info@dta-motorsport.co.uk
  22. Berkley, The noise you're referring to is probably the ABS selftest and actuators. It only activates when the car has covered a few feet and the vehicle speed exceeds something like 4mph. Hopefully see you on the 14th at The Boat Inn. Regards, Danny info@dta-motorsport.co.uk
  23. I hate to self-advertise in this part of the forum but as nobody else has directed this chap in our direction ... here goes: Check out dta-motorsport.co.uk in the trader section. We do Apexi PowerFlow pop intakes (better than JWT and K&N) for £120. Organising a group buy within the next week - £100 each plus postage. If interested e-mail me at info@dta-motorsport.co.uk Regards, Danny
  24. Hi Fas, Could I be cheeky, tag along and ask your cousin to enquire about Kahn's RS-C 2 piece alloys in the size 8.5"x19" and 9.5"x19" when he goes down on Saturday. No need for tyres. I already have a quote from a local stockist but thought it wouldn't hurt to "shop around". Many thanks mate. Regards, Danny dta-motorsport.co.uk
  25. There once was fellow from Bath Whose nuts were made out of brass During foul weather He'd bang them together And make lightning shoot out of his a**se! There once was a maid from Madrass Who had a perfectly round *ss Not rounded and pink As you'd probably think It was grey, had long ears and ate grass :)
