  1. They're not sided. The only difference "should" be the lenght of the wire. One connects at the top of the back of the engine block, the other at the side of the engine block (driver's side) and will require a longer lead. HTH Dan
  2. How come you're selling Karl? Didn't you just get this built?
  3. LOL :D Very funny. All we need now is a pic of the back of a cat, throw in a mongoose and you have a mongoose catback! Not exactly what I was thinking of but pretty close ;)
  4. I've been working in the mobile telecommunication and VOIP industries for quite a few years now and I can honestly say that none of the information kept on any mobile communications device (whether it be a simple Nokia 3310 or the latest, greatest smartphone/pda/communicator) is safe from being looked at by the major providers. I've seen demo's of people copying entire mobile phonebooks over the air without the "victim's" knowledge or anything showing up on their phone. Very scary stuff ... This is precisely the reason why so many developers in the mobile industry don't keep numbers in their phones - if there's nothing in there thent there's nothing to see. Next big threat to hit GPRS enabled phones will be rogue diallers (very much like the internet variety) which will dial into premium numbers without the user's knowledge and then erase themselves to leave no trace. In a way it is all very clever programming but when it is used maliciously I'd like to line them all up and shoot them - along with the idiot who invented mini-roundabouts (all IMHO only). CheerZ, Dan
  5. Could I ask one or two of you with the twin 3" Mongoose exhaust system fitted to your cars to post up or e-mail me some decent pics of it. Preferably 3/4 rear view which shows it off well. Aftermarket bumpers not a problem. With your permission I would like to use the image on our websites for promotional purposes. It will of course be properly credited ;) Many thank! Dan
  6. Yes, the back of my head did the other day when the tailgate slammed into it ... Bloody gas struts are useless in cold weather and I suppose my water-logged standard TT spoiler doesn't help matters either. ;) All the best, Dan
  7. Thanks Simon for the info and links. I've got a Willem unit coming soon. Regards, Danny
  8. The sale of this item has now been officially moved to the Group Buy section, here. Please add your names to the ever growing list in that thread - that will make it easier for me to coordinate who wants what, etc. Many thanks to Dave for starting this thread and to all interested parties. All the best, Danny
  9. You should be so lucky Dave! LOL I've decided that rather than continuing the sale of these items on this thread I'm going to start a separate thread in the DTA section and also organise a group buy (I'll do both tonight when I get home). That way I can take a good picture of the one I've got and I can also gauge how many I need to order. And Dave - thanks mate - I owe you a drink next time we meet. Ok, signing out now. Will continue this in a few hours! CheerZ, Danny
  10. You can have it by the weekend Andy - I have one in stock! It's not as detailed as the 300ZX though but still v. nice!
  11. Sorry Matt, did you say £20 + P+P? I've gone slightly blind all of a sudden ;)
  12. Oh, and just to set the expectation correctly ... The glass block measures 8x5x5 cm (or roughly 3"x2"x2" for the non-metric boys amongst us). This isn't very big but it does seem to be the standard size for these types of paperweights. I've seen paperweights of identical measurements in local shops selling for £35+. This ZX is v. nice - it's a LHD SWB TT (man, how anal is that ...) LOL! Cheers! Danny
  13. Yeah, need one for display/photography purposes. I'll let it go after that ...
  14. Patience Matt - I need to dig up what I paid for the two I've got. Ok - invoice found and calculations checked ... £20 for the one I've got now (which is what I paid for it), price will drop to around £15 when I get the first shipment in. (plus postage obviously - don't know how much that'll come to as I haven't weighed it yet). If you buy direct from the guy on e-bay you'll pay £20. I'm doing a bulk order which will reduce the price considerably. Let me know if I've still got your attention ... ;) CheerZ, Danny
  15. You can have one now mate - I've got two and am keeping one for myself! ;) D
  16. I've got a shipment of these coming in and will be offering these for sale very soon. (I listed this on my "new products" thread). I've already got two and they are v. nice. Also have a 350Z. I would suggest anyone who is interested in these to let me know and I'll get the next order sorted. UK price will defo beat the deliverd price as quoted on the e-bay link (volume discount you see ... ;)) By the way, postage to the UK works out to roughly £9 but can take forever to get here ... All the best! Danny
  17. Yes, actually you can. The supplier has a kit which will fit standard 16" wheels. Sorry mate - and just to prepare you, I've got lots of other bits "coming to a Zed near you" soon. Check out my post in the DTA section. All the best, Dan
  18. It is Andy but at £149 a pop it was a bit out of my budget. Am getting one now for approx 40 Euro which does the same thing! Cheers! Danny
  19. I'm getting a Willems unit based on several recommendations. Thanks again for your offer Mat - really appreciated. CheerZ, Dan
  20. This has now been sorted - bought one for a very reasonable price! Many thanks to all (esp. MTL) Cheers! Dan
  21. It's as much the pads as it is the discs' and calipers problem. There is just too much bulk to slow down using the standard brake setup. If you're interested in upgrading pads only then speak to Smithy regarding his super-duper kevlar pads otherwise be patient for a couple more weeks (but hopefully sooner) and I'll be able to offer you brand new Skyline discs and brembo calipers (incl. s/s brake lines and high performance pads). I'm just about to finalise an agreement with a new supplier. Cheers! Danny
  22. Don't tell me that I'm now working for you ex-boss? Your description fits perfectly! They must have reproduced/cloned ... ;) Cheers! Danny
  23. Just a quick note to say that these ones sold in Japan are SIDE LIGHTS only and not blinkey-blinkey indicators. I'm sure they can be adapted without too much hassle though. I've seen these before and discounted them for this particular reason. Also, they come "unpainted" so ontop of the purchase price, transportation, duty and vat you'll need to add in painting cost. I don't want to put anyone off buying these of course, just letting you know what I found out during my previous "leg work". Oh, and they guy who sells these speaks exactly 4 words of English, namely "Me no sqeaky Engerish" ... makes it difficult to deal with. All the best! Danny
  24. Thanks mate - have just seen it and will respond in a minute or two ... Dan
  25. Thanks mate - completely forgot that he was our resident "chip specialist" ;)
