  1. hmmm not sure, like those kaminari ones better, if i cant find something a lottle closer i'll give carmad a pm:cool2: Cheers
  2. nice price.....not ha ha with import duty that makes them the most expensive bits of plastic i've seen.
  3. too right, maybe i should just do without... thanks for the input though funky :-) Those kaminari ones look the trick though, the search begins ha ha
  4. someone on here made a boost leak plug, think it was znut, maybe pm him but i'm sure it was made out of a coffee jar lid with a bike tire (same as car) valve pushed through the centre, then just use a foot pump to give it some preassure and listen for the hiss i suppose. Not done this myself yet so cant comment on how easy or hard but seems easy enough
  5. http://www.thumper300zx.com/z32/boostleaks/boost_leak_guide.htm sure there was another link on here somewhere, will keep searching
  6. I'm after a set of skirts for my 2+2, nothing lairy just nice and sexy, any suggestions ( pics would be good too ):confused1:
  7. I'd rather trust an old nissan than an old fiat any day !!!!!
  8. Welcome to the club mate, i'm in process of doing exactly the same to mine, it needed quite a bit of bodywork but with less than 40k miles i couldn't resist. They easier to work on than a vectra anyway so happy sortin mate :-)
  9. Don't wanna piss anyone off but Andy duff may be closer, (zxtreme in google) he did a cracking job on mine when i was worried about traveling distance still about 100 miles like but if your car fooked then maybe worth thinking about. Sorry Jeff, your still the best :-)
  10. Hi, Just got a rack to remove my hicas, have seen a kit on z1 with a solenoid bypass thingy... (sorry not sure of correct word) Seems to be a popular thing to do on here so was wondering what anyone has used to connect the 2 fluid pipes together, really wanna get this done as the hicas is pissing me off, i'm sure theres a problem with it so i just want to get rid. Thanks in advance guys, had my car off the road all year trying to sort it just this and a few odds and sods and i'll be ready for action again woop woop
  11. i've got a rock springs, a couple years later than that, had it for years excellent all rounder and we usually go to Glentress or Innerleithan. Enjoy, a total bargin
  12. i have a faulty sensor too and have put over 8 hours in trying to get passanger side one out using crows feet various extention bars and even a propper o2 socket and still no joy. Mine will be going to localgarage now as im sick, quoted 30 to replace (ive spent more than that in tools trying to pull the bloody thing lol
  13. it's nearly half price from a conversion tho
  14. Well i had my zed for maybe 3 month now, done a bit of work and got a lot to do, so don't comment on the state, im trying to save her (it's going good). providing im off work i'll be over just let me know where :-)
  15. ok will do that now, check back later tell yo how it goes. Thanks
  16. just wanted to make sure i could be this before i waste all afternoon, no it didnt do this before, it was running very smooth
  17. Recently fitted a boost guage, i dont think i have a boost leak but since my idle has dropped to about 650 from about 8 and its cut out twice when cold. It also seems very lumpy when i pull up at lights.
  18. no probs, happy you got sorted. It's a right pain getting something that has very vague instructions and even worse when its off ebay with none lol
  19. think i have it sorted, will fit today sometime, i'll cut into the blue hose left of the fuel damper (not hose to) near the balance bar think thats the one your telling me to cut z32 and thanks so much
  20. only good thing about a saxo compared to a zed is that you dont need as much fuel, but that just means you'll be passed by snails and your 85yr OAP neighbour in a mobility scooter ha ha
  21. Does anyone know where i can find a photo of the vaccum line i'm supposed to fit my boost guage too, spent 2 hours getting it through bulk and now im sick , just dont want to cut the wrong pipe...i have no clue at all which one.:(
  22. you could get a half decent set off ebay if you look well and dont buy the first lot you see, but i'd go somewhere like american golf first to get a feel for a few different set-up's first like stiff flex reg flex etc. i started with a budget set of regal clubs paid 150 for full set including bag and trolley they were ok but didnt improve my game much, then i got a used set of Titleist DCI irons which i now use very well indeed (especially as they forged) considering they're over 5 years old. clubs are expensive so i think it's good to settle with a few different types before splashing out on an expensive new fitted set
