  1. Don't want to rush anyone..... what's the state of play ?
  2. Nice pics of a 300ZX in Banzai, Tokyo JDM show.
  3. Slave cylinder easy to replace with car on ordinary ramps.
  4. Change gearbox and diff oil, while you are under there check for any undue side to side and up and down movement in the prop centre support bearing, the rubber around the bearing breaks up after a few years, common fault on older motors. Also as previous replies.
  5. Try an ECU diagnostic, it may show up something not operating properly.
  6. Won't be able to make it, we'll be flying back from Gran Canaria. What a bummer. A lottery win would be nice before then !!!
  7. Just back ourselves, sorry, didn't have much time to chat, will come back again when it's a bit lighter in the evenings. Nice turn out, even in the dark. See you again folks.
  8. The other half and myself, we're going. Hey Vixen, you got a long tail with a white tip ??
  9. Had same problem with the other-halfs, relieve pressure on fuel filter and it would start no problem. Fuel regulator seemed to be the problem, eased the bolts holdind the item , a couple of spoon fulls of fuel spurted back !! and hey presto, it started. The JOY of owning a Z.
  10. +-------------+ + turb0z + MAC1 + DanDud + kirbz + scoops + Rag Top Rob +-------------+ My fairlady in her Fairlady Me in the R33 GTSt
  11. Thanks, lymon. Would faulty temp sensor cause the electric fan to run on normal temp ?
  12. Problem :- engine cuts out at traffic lights/junction, not every time just occasionally, and will not restart. Ignition O.K. I have found that if the pressure is released at the fuel filter, the engine will restart and run O.K. Any ideas ??
  13. More chance of winning lottery than getting this off the ground !!
  14. Probably a spare, in case the one on shot broke down !!!!
  15. Ditto, with jingle bells on
  16. Christmas greetings to one and all. WOOOHOOOOOO
  17. As can be seen, not a single sticker in sight !!!
  18. Still waitng, quietly. I said, QUIETLY
  19. Definately go for a turbo, you would be lost after driving a liner, whole new experience driving a 300 ZX. My other half drove past me last night and I was almost looking down on her !! Hers is a bit lower than mine (GTS-t).
  20. Having to rely on volunteers, using their own free time, to get things , like keyrings, stickers etc, sourced, delivered and packaged up and distributed must be like... well, digging a hole in sand using a course sieve. It's never ending, unsatisfying and never appreciated by those looking on. So quit moaning, you can enter the MEMBERS AREA, get EXCELLENT ZX advice and if you're lucky, get insulted by many other ZX owners.
  21. Toad alarm/imobiliser fitted by safe and sound, good job, good price. Don't think they will travel to London though !! Based in Deeside near Chester. Great bloke Mark (Big Bob), loads of gear for in-car entertainment.
  22. Members pack for me, please, pretty please, pretty pretty please.
