  1. Finished the surround and now looks like this, Closed, Open, This will motor up with the Acc position on ignition, now waiting for the bits to put in it!
  2. Here is my old OE wheel, bought off here with minimal wear as shown.the cruise loom is cut off as I needed it to connect my Horn! Would prefer pick up but will post at cost. Daz.
  3. Lol! Gaz, sorry. Basically I'm installing guages, now Iv'e done the pillar pod and centre console mount route before so I thought this would be different. I'm retrofitting a motorized flip up display into the top half of the stereo surround. Done a bit of filling Today to lose the moulding lines ready to be painted, currently looks like this.........
  4. Well Today I have chopped up my £140 double din surround! Hope this works Lol!
  5. Depends which boss kit you use.I used a generic one and it was a pain!-get a proper Hicas (if needed) one and it's really simple. Getting the wheel off is a matter of hitting both sides of the wheel with the flat of your hands rapidly, they soon pop off.
  6. Bored so I thought I'd try some experimenting........ Fitted the steering boss at long last for aftermarket wheel, also a slimline 'snap off' kit. Another Idea that I had a while ago, thought I'll give it a go........can you tell I'm bored Lol!
  7. Cheers chaps very happy with it now to find a steering wheel to go with it !
  8. Got the trims etc in and the seats I now have UK seat belts front and back so no more strangling myself when I open the door LOl
  9. Happy Birthday Gaz!......from Daz.
  10. Started on the interior change for Dans. Thought I would check the inner quarters as you can see right into them with the trims off, this is what I found............... Yup! absolutely nothing! can't believe the condition of this car! So loads of wax to keep her that way! As Dans was UK spec I have to get nuts behind the pillar to mount the seatbelts, I'm using a couple of FIA rated weld in plates. Can't wait to get the Recaro's in!
  11. .....and are you having breathing problems? Lol!
  12. Yes as there is no such thing as 'Renault paint Lol!-will be one of the main manufacturers, PPG, Glasurit etc.
  13. I felt sick when I saw this mate, still your O.K and that's all that matters. A shit ton of graft went into this and I genuinely feel for for you bud! oh! and first dibs on the seats!
  14. Still at it then Bri! :hammer:
  15. Well what a Night!-was going to mount the diff etc tonight, only for one of the front bolts to grab on the thread and spin the captive nut!-where is it you ask?-in the subframe!bugger!. Ended up carrying out open heart surgery to the subframe,to re-weld the captive nut, to tighten the bolt.:hammer::sweatdrop: - - - Updated - - - They are a royal pain mate!-I didn't burn them out tho'.
  16. Had the main frame all arms and both knuckles and roll bar done for £120-diff I painted. Bushes all came from Luke @ Zcentre mate.
