As you know, our vans are not sign written and all our work is word of mouth, but currently only 6 weeks work ahead and nothing in the pipe line after that yet, a lot of work can come in 6 weeks but it does get worrying , so thought it was a decent avenue at the show, but yes your right, the distance may be a problem!! its 42 miles to the event so hopefully clients could be on the right side of this for me, mmmm decisions decisions

No, I don`t really need the advertising, BUT we've gone a bit quiet recently, loads of enquiries but nothing set in stone , It is a high end event but as PhilP says, my always local work will be getting a bit far field, I don`t mind travelling but I reckon i would be travelling to give a quotation and may not get the job!! I`ve still not ruled it out yet, and I will see what's offered tomorrow, cheerz for the input(s) :)

Going to meet her tomorrow, a slightly reduced labour rate is first on my mind and then `MY` freebies, then yes I`m going for it :)

I`ve been offered and small build project ( a summer house) from some clients I built an extension for last year. they are a very reputable landscape garden specialists and their work is excellent!!! my dilemma is, they want a summer house making for RHS Tatton park flower show which is in the next few weeks, BUT they have asked would we do it for free!!!! if they provide the materials!! i reckon we could, in 2 days, build something quite substantial , but for free???? We can advertise on the stand and probably get free entrance for the show, and then probably get some nice plants flowers even the summerhouse after the event!!! What would you lot do??

A few years ago Al, I would have been knocking on his door mate, I have calmed down a lot recently, some of my mates cant believe I have been so calm about the whole situation :), but Chris has had and still got issues, and I can see that, Knocking on his door will only make thing`s worse.... last time I knocked on someone's door (a metro) (with my foot) the door card blew off, the door was written off and I got 6 months conditional discharge and £550 damage fine, LOL I can guarantee the lad and his girlfriend in that Metro will never have road rage again :)

To be fair to Tony, I posted a similar thread on the other site and Tony was right on it Gaz, he has been really helpful mate, and is contacting Chris again, I hate putting people out, but he`s offered, so a few pints for him are in order if we ever meet at a club event ;)

Perhaps, because it was a compact disc, the customs have intercepted it ,thinking it was suspicious!!! and now the second has been sent, they have intercepted that too!!! but then maybe the floods washed the customs office down the road and all the evidence has been lost and its now somewhere in the Irish sea?, oh well, lets just hope a fisherman finds them and hands them into me, another 6 months wont hurt :D

No!!!! my postman is alive and he has not been washed away by flooding!!!!! he posted my BT, British gas and orange phone bills this morning ,lol :)

`F` all mate, not even a e-mail :( the weather has been bad though ,maybe the writing on the envelope ran and the sorting office cant send it to the correct address? lol
