  1. I`ve just got back from nearly a week in the Lake District, Langdale to be exact and the weather couldn`t have been better, cold frosty mornings and blue sky all day, and the roads were empty :w00t:, I`ve done about 300 miles and loved every minute, got the lid off most days and blew the cobwebs from the vert, stunning scenery and great fast mountain roads! If your looking at staying in the Lakes, I can highly reccommend, The Langdale Estate!! It`s absolutley mint, right on a fast flowing stream with hotel and spa facilties and great food, 8 of us stayed in Beckside east self catering appartment, all the entertainment system was Bang&Olufsen, with plasma`s everywhere, speakers in the ceiling, an awesome steam room, the whole place was the dogs danglies!!! http://www.langdale.co.uk/stay/selfcatering/becksideeast.htm here`s some pics,
  2. Seen you this afternoon travelling out of Southport on the coast road, I was in my Black convertible, who was it???? You had an irish plate on MBZ? Daz. :cool3:
  3. Have you not got anyting better to do @ 2.38am???? go to bed!!
  4. You dont need to take the whole light unit out, just the glass part from the top :thumbup1:
  5. You dont need to remove the headlights
  6. I voted `no leave it alone`!! Because I have, and Love the difference it made to my car`s, But mine are the stock lights chromed, I find the 99 spec`s a little fussy. It`s possible to chrome the lights without taking the bumper off, just remove the metal clips from around the lights, heat the glue shit up with a hairdryer and carefully seperate, its fiddly but easily done. Chrome them and if you dont like, paint them back again!!! easy Daz.
  7. Gone a bit bluey now, I`m rushing, I will have more time tommorrow if the tinternet works ;)
  8. No worries mate, he lives by me in Southport, so postage needs adding, but I reckon the price he quoted should include postage :thumbup1: Daz.
  9. Just another one, lights taken from the red zed
  10. Sick looking zed you have Dave, i like it, great pics too :winkiss:
  11. I think you should chrome them mate!! I did mine last year(yes only stock inserts) and the neighbour(who doenst know much about zeds) even commented that it makes the car look so much newer and fresher. the first time i saw Isaac`s car, I stood looking at it thinking something is different here?? and then noticed the lights, I went straight home and did mine. DO it, fook what Funkisi thinks  , I must admint though he normally is right on his styling though, but not this time. Also!! some of the other moody wet pictures of your zed you sent, remind me of cod 4!!! overgrown i thinks , the rainy one!!! no downpour
  12. Hi Bud, just a quicky, give me a bit more time, perhaps over the weekend and i will fine tune both lights, so just one for now.The image from the other website wont let me grab a high deff image so the light unit is poor qual, but this pic give you a little idea. squint your eyes
  13. I`ve got the same one!!! I cant recommend enough! great picture, good sound, and every time i get in my car it finds the bluetooth straight away,The sound from the phone comes out the car speakers nice and loud and the touch screen is beautiful, I cant get TV on mine now though as the analogue signal has gone in the north west  you can fit a camera to these units too, so a rear or forward video view would be great. Cheap and well worth the money IMO.
  14. Nice zed mate :thumbup1:
  15. Hi Bud, welcome to the club, Nice selection of Jap cars you have owned, hope you enjoy your zed, I have an N/a too love it to bits. Your not being slow!! 17. Hi Bud, I went to my mates today and took some pics of the chainsaws he has, At the moment he only has 2 cheapish ones, all the rest are big proffesional jobbies, more for tree felling in the woods, but here are the 2 small basic ones he has. The small sthil one is £100 and the Husqvarna is £140. Not dead cheap but reasonable i thought, if your interested send me a PM and i will give you his mobile and you can chat with him, I know he will drop a little on price if you ask ;) I bought the slightly larger Sthil one 4 years ago from him for £120 and its never missed a beat, i use mine all the time. I`ve seen them a lot cheaper on fleabay. No worries at all if you dont want one or just bought one mate, I `m just helping out.
  18. Good lad!! Anything over 140 is bloody quick!! I did considerably more:whistling: when i first got my zed and its frighening!! feels like you cant turn. Nice to chat again Mikey

  21. It seems they use the Pontiac Fiero for quite a few conversions!!! It must be a good platform to work from?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250582928369&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Replica-Kit-Makes-Fiero-Testaorrosa-Pontiac_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2c53488662QQitemZ190375822946QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks
  22. I think it looks great too, I dont think I would have used a pontiac Fiero though A lot of hard work has gone into moulding the panels ect, i bet it looks awesome after the paint job.
