  1. Thanks, Yeh, not what I wanted at all but the lad who did the spraying for me thought he would surprise me in doing it like that!! He said if i dont like it he would do as i asked in Gloss black, but i kinda like it now, its very subtle and looks ok, If i get bored he will change it for free!!
  2. Lets have a guess how much it will go for!!!! I reckon £736.51 :online2long: But I bet his reserve is a lot higher, so probably wont sell
  3. That will look nice all matching:yes:, you can always spray over again if it looks too much
  4. Yeh I spotted that the other day, It doesnt look like a z32 engine though? more like a 200sx, perhaps it was a prototype, nice though I like it
  5. Lol, sooo true, love it and loved the 80`s
  6. Thanks, Its sooooo hard to find a good shade, I was determined to find a unique colour, but looking at loads of pics and forums all the best had been done, so Imo this is the best colour, I did ask Ant if he minded that i copied and he said go for it, but I love his and had to go for it
  7. Yeh, I agree, good bit of cover up, It needed a bit of fitting to get it perfect, mainly around the front section on both sides, I did wonder why it does need this fitting? nothing is straight forward, arnt zeds all the same shape? Its finished off in candy black with a chrome fleck, not what I wanted but my new spray man did a little experiment and I quite like it now
  8. Lol, sold my digi slr camera to Andy, so gone down to my camera phone for a while, and my other camera is flat, will get some better pics tommorrow as it was bad lighting in my car port, but yes black perspex is moulded to the inner front arches
  9. Cost me £230 for polishing and chroming, but I wouldnt reccomend the place I went to, very poor customer service and shite quality
  10. CheerZ Chris, it wasnt so bad, but I wanted it better and they said its the best they could do, Very unhappy with the service and quaility I recieved :crying:
  11. Cheerz groover, yes, made the slam panel from black gloss perspex, still needs the edges smoothing yet but will look good when done and thought it would be different
  12. Well I`ve been busy over crimbo getting my car sorted for next year, had lots of chroming and polishing done and done some myself, the plenum came back from the shop very poor so I `ve had to do it again and it still needs a lot of work yet, I was excited today so I put everything together for a trail fit to see what it`s gonna look like, hence these pics I`ve moulded black gloss perspex over the upper wheel arches and the slam panel for a fresh clean look I tried to be original with the colour scheme but its very hard to choose a nice colour that hasnt been done, so I`ve gone for a similar shade to Ant300zx`s work of art (my favorite on the club) Still lots to do but hope you like what I`ve done so far :tt2:
  13. Its a gay porn alert! It turns the monitor off at random intervals to save you from going blind, Mikey Bean had this problem last week
  14. Happy birthday bud, have a good one :happybday:
  15. I think that estimate is way too low!! I know building is a lot cheaper up in Scotland but no way could you even contemplate an extension for 1-1.5! Rule of thumb in North west(london a lot higher) is approx £1200 per square meter, Del`s is 3meters by 7meters thats 21 sqm, at the VERY cheapest at £800sqm that would be 16grand! The concrete alone would be £400 and the flat roof would be £700+ for a cheap job,(ask z-nut) then man hours, windows ,doors, electrics, plumbing, brick works ,plastering, steel, lintols ect. I`ve been doing this for a long time and you get what you pay for but even 6 grand! no way!
  16. welcome to the club mate, that is a members old car on here, it`s deloreans. nice car and lovely colour
  17. God I thought you would get it Richard :sailor:
  18. Awesome dude!!! I spent Independance day in NYC with Sarah a few years ago, It rocks, great city and the firework display was awesome, shame about the new yorkers though!! arrogant dicks!!, but ignore them and its a fab city, happy crimbo
  19. They look the dogs danglies Boldy!!!
  20. Just to add, next time mr boiler man calls out to her, he should change the outlet to a 32mm pipe to stop it happeneing again, if that is the problem.
  21. I dont know much about boilers, but at the moment my mate is unindated with call outs to frozen outlets on condensate boilers! the outlet freezes and bolier just goes out, so.... if its a condensate boiler then check the outlet for her, should be a 15mm,22mm pipe just poking outside, unfreeze with hot water, hair dryer hth
