  8. Funny you should say that as the first time i did this on my TT about 6 years ago i got them off all nice then sprayed the jet washer at them and one fell of the wall and broke in bits  I just use the dishwasher now :gunsmilie:
  9. The insert just pulls out bud, 2 plastic locator clips at the top, iirc , will have to check again though to make sure, but I dont remember unscrewing anything, I will find some pics in my files for you
  10. no, headlights had never been opened before, the brackets either side just bend outwards, i used a chisel the first time to open them up after heating but use a glass sucker now, i dont reseal them just use the old glue, but it never seals like new, hence me cleaning quite often and they do steam up after heavy rain. ive done both methods, in and out, but this way is much easier as the headlights are solid and nothing moves except the glass
  11. Yeh, easy! just remove the 6 (ish) clips around the edge of the lights and lift the metal strip above/below the light and heat the glue up with a hair dryer and pull the glass away, no need to remove anything apart from centre panel, its quite tight around the bottom of the wing, but mine was easy, I do it all the time to keep averything looking tidy just like this, notice the right hand glass missing :flowers:
  12. Nice cute pussy, I like them bald though
  13. Why dont you leave the headlights in place and just remove the glass? Easy job and then put the glass in the dishwasher, they come out mint and then time for a spring clean around the plastics inside.
  14. Yeh , I like that rear too, looks unique, but agree with Dave, I bet its really thin fibreglass, build it up a little and its a winner imo Daz.
  15. Cheers for all the help guys, Mr engineer is coming out tommorrow to fix the problem and probably empty my wallet :scared: Daz.
  16. CheerZ Jeff, I think i have over pressurised the system by topping up and leaving the valve open over night!!oooppss, I will have a gander to see if i can get inside to the valve seal and clean it out, Thanks for you help mate
  17. Good luck Quavey, make it an adventure rather than a task, get yourself an engine booster pack, jump leads and tyre inflator in one, only £25 for a cheepo one from the Range, but always a great get me home unit, have a good day http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blackspur-Engine-Starter-Compressor-JS201/dp/B000FTDYEK
  18. Cheerz bud, it was on 0.0 when i looked after the boiler tripped off, I filled it up but at 0.6 bar the water kept coming from the outlet, I`ve pushed/pulled the relief valve button and that seems to work ok? At the moment the boiler is on and working ok, but the water is still dripping from the outlet? strange
  19. Bloody boiler again! My car port has a load of water in it due to the boiler outlet pissing water everywhere!! its running hot water like a tap from it, any suggestions, Its a glowworm 24cxi combi condenser if that helps!! Thanks in advance
