  1. check behind the firewall or bulkhead under bonnet and there should be a vacuum operated valve for the water supply to the heater matrix .check by feel both sides of valve to see if waterflow goes through it or wether hot water going in to matrix and not coming out first.
  2. Has anybody got the gain settings they have set up with this system which is a starting point to run about 15psi boost and the recomended safety setting and peak settings.and what other scamble setting have u set up at. thanks Richard
  3. thanks for the comments guys, yes the under bonnets full of dust............but I have a new polished inlet manifold sitting on the work bench ready to fit and the spare timing covers are painted metallic blue, also the water housings are polished up and there is several bits chromed plated like throttle linkage and drive pulleys its just that I havent had the time to fit them but they will be soon once its passed mot on saturday and its going straight in for full decat and stainless exhaust then in the winter when i take it off road I might fit the veilside rear wing....but not sure about it I bought it but can't make up my mind. might do a post and see what people think lol. Richard.

  5. I've just fitted the genuine veilside C11 kit and the one on the zed centre is a copy of mine but using the zeds indicators. I think it look awesome and mac gonna post some pics when he gets them off me. so you can make up your own mind which version u prefer bear in mind the genuine costs double than the one of the zed centre..

  9. mines a silver zed but its not moved out of mi garage until ave finished painting bodykit on it. will be on the road again soon.
  10. I know my local windscreen firm alambra windsceens quoted me £125 with the sun strip in ... fitted. I only enquired cos I've got a few little chips in screen.. oh and its a uk car
  11. Has anybody rewired the rear inner brake light up to use them as a fog lamp, mainly a conversion on j spec zed I believe. The reason I ask is that whilst fitting the veilside rear apron I can't be arsed to french in the uk fog lamps .I thought of using a diode inbetween each set of light bulbs on rear clusters and then route the foglight feed to the inner brakelight, so when fogs are on only inner lights work and brake lights work seperately. but when no fogs on both sets of brake lights work. If you catch my drift, or use a series of relays to do the job. whats the best way chaps??? yours one busy zed owner with it in more bits than I care to say sob.....sob..

I take it youv'e checked the rear wheels for ballance or damage to tyres etc..
  14. Fook me whilst fitting the full veiside kit and de locking and shaved door handles etc I thought i'd do the headlight upgrade as well whilst front bumper is off. this is taking me longer to do than the bleeding bodywork.the bake a foil is a twat to put on without bubbles.had to use a pin etc.wish I hadn't started it , cos I could be well on the way fitting the bodykit....... :( sorry guys just letting off steam and sat neet fooking abart with headlamps is pissing me off.
  15. Hi up chris, just makes us a reasonable offer as I'm not sure of the going price. I only took them off cos I've bought the veilside mirrors . Richard
  16. Hi chris I have a pair of uk mirrors but they are in silver, still it isn't too bad a job to respray them white.
  17. With 19" wheels it tends to be a harder ride, but it makes up for it in looks. only my opinion though.
  18. Seen as I lost my hard drive and all my email contacts can anybody remember who it was that was doing the group buy for the above. Cos I sent a cheque for em months ago and emailed them and still waiting but can't remeber who it was doing it lol. Besides the fact I haven't received owt either. Richard

A silver uk zed is even better cos they are rarer!
  21. That brought back some memories for me as I used to live in belgium for nine years until I moved back home when I was 13 and couldn't read or write english...... still can't lol I always said that dutch language was a posh version of the flemmish language. Richard
  22. you could check to see if you have a open circuit on yer det sensor , sometimes the wire get rubbed through, check the connector at the back of the engine and see if there is any frayed wire going into it.
  23. Am running on 19" Falken tyres and they seem to be wearing ok, grip is fine in dry and the usual sliding about in wet.seem a good tyre and value for money.
  24. make sure you loosen the camshaft bolt first before removing tension on cambelt as it makes it hard to undo with camshaft moving about. just my two penny's worth.
  25. I've worked on bm's for years and they have a tendency to have whining diff, but its not as dear to get a secondhand one and not too bad to fit. the staight 6 3.0 single vanos variable or 3.2 double vanos all sound a bit tappetty for a few seconds from cold especially the high mileage ones but don't usually give any probs its only the delay in oil pressure or slight worn tappets. just my two penny's worth
