the reason these cars cost so much to rebuild and modd is when the engine goes you think ooh well rebuild engine.....but after that expense you can,t really bolt the 15 yr old turbo,s on a new engine and watch them blow up later so it costs u another 2k for uprated turbo's plus £700 for clutch and flywheel while its out/engine loom £350 as old un is brittle new hoses etc where they are perrished and laichbour on top so when a guy pays 3 k for his zed and looks a spending in exess of 8k just to fix it with small upgrade it offputting for most people unless ur nuts like most of us on here lol, r

once i got my head around the menus and sofware and its unlimitted uses its not too bad, its just got so many options that you could go on forever modding every setting, but its deffo better than using nissan ecu and burning chips, and you can build in ur own safety features and dual wideband is essential rich

i'm in the process off ordering one from usa, not gimmicky but a good diagnostic tool for live data on the run if you dont have carputer or lappy connnected even though i have car puter and a uego wideband i've ordered one so i can sell my wideband due to the fact i have the AEM with dual wideband so I don't want another sensor in my exhaust lol the serial gauge will need config to get all data you might need rich

you can also do it with AEM engine management if i recall as you can config it to spark on overrun as jaypsc did it but obviously i can't ask him rich

another point is missed out............the zed has a electric fan which also comes in under extreme conditions as its not only there for the air con rad, so you have the best of both worlds, and i can set the temp for it to come on but ... then again thats with the aem engine management system lol

there is usually loads on usa ebay got mine for about £45 and a mate fetched home lol

have you put the fuel pipes the right way around??

i use the aem wideband and it ahs duel output o-1 v for narrow band like stock and then use the 0-5 v for the wideband and you know exactly what ur afr is rich

I dare not count up, if I did I would be sick as a parrot all that money on a zed ffs

there is always plan b, weld another boss further down downpipe and fit another sensor there extending wires and use a wideband sensors with gauge rich

now heres a tricky answer my mate jaypsc ordered em about 15 quid a pair, but il have to check his lappy for info next time i go down to swindon, he told when he was alive but i've forgotten sorry rich

yup you got it guys, full AEM with dual wideband and the airfilters cost me...................40quid for the pair and they look mint as you said its a shame u can't see em richard

got rid of the maf and now replaced with some dual airfilters which look well made and cost less than 1 airfilter from apexi

they are the solenoids for putting car into safety boost, best is to bypass em with selicone hoses as they are old and use a boost controller richard

i've got a pair of seconhand ones if you need em for a good price richard

what sealant did you use to seal the split rim as i'm gonna do my blitz z1 and maybe have the rim chromed

tried what you said with nissan ecu car ran fine,,,, checked map sensor at eam and even found the input voltage was working fine.. suspect i might have to modify the fuel map to suit the injectors ffs richard

day 3 and still struggling with the aem FFS I WILL GET THIS WORKING
