My thoughts too mate, i said to him i rekon his cats have failed. What would cause the exhaust to block?

Mate has a TVR Chimera with the 4.0 V8. Its suddenly gone a bit pear shaped though. Symptoms are -It sounds like its running on 6 cyl -Smell of burninig -no power -Exhaust pipe glowing red hot. (Big pipes that bend back underthe engine to goto the back of the car) Any help appreciated )

Im sure the only difference between sarges and the one on ebay is the one on ebay has also used some chrome trim. Think the both look fine.

Mine creaked too but a change of pads sorted it, dont think they were that low either. Have to as Jay as he changed em for me lol.

saftey boost can be caused by many things, make sure you use optimax if its a jap spec, try and get a consult check to see if its the det sensor. sure somebody nearish you may help.

just got mine back after 4 weeks and she scared the life out of me lol.

Got my car back yesterday and it feels so much better, low end power feels normal again and car feels so much tighter. No whistiling from leaking boost pressure either YAY. Could not try out too much as it was very wet and my car is lacking rear tyre rubber (wheel spun when set at 5psi, pulling away in 2nd). cheers peebs.
