Cool it will have to wait till im back from hols at the end of this month. im hoping to get it done for around £100ish all in inc buying the paint, do you rekon thats possible?

im sure when you but the oil cooler kit it come with some extra piping.

I think the Black and Red ones look great Polished up but, I like my silver one as it doesnt need much effort to bring it up looking smart. I used to think the calypso red of my old BMW would look good on a zed.

Sounds like a UK rad yampie, dont know if all 4 are used or just the 2. Basicall there should be 5 pipes in total going into the rad (Top Hose, Bottom Hose, Autobox Oil in, Autobox Oil Out, and that one by the rad cap). The Oil hoses just need to be connected to whatever you are gonna be using as you autobox cooler. I assume the UK Rad as 2 internal autobox cooler sections which is why you have a hose that goes out and back in again on the rad, I know the UK rad has a larger oil cooling capacity.

oil coolers are std on both UK and jap car. both use the rad to cool autoboxes but the uk auto rad as 4 pipes going into it and only 2 on the jap. basically the new oil cooler will come with a bracket to install it where the old one was and connect the pipes from old oil cooler to new. you can then attach the old oil cooler infront of it and then take the pipes connected to the rad for the autobox oil and connect to what was the old oil cooler. Remember to flush old engine oil out of the cooler before you start pumping autobox oil thru it.

sounds like what mine does it feels the car has a 2 stage gearchange from 2nd to 3rd when accelerating lightly and feels like the car pulls back when changin from 2nd to 3rd with moderate or rapid acceleration.

no need to blank off the old one just route pipes t new oil cooler. you dont need to blank the holes on the rad.

Dont know what 100% duty cycle is so no chance me setting that lol Think it must be my gain set to high as it was fine before but wasnt hitting enough boost so bumped the gain right up. its only in the days it does it, tonight the car was fine, went like a rocket and hit 1 bar

noticed sometimes my boost level pulse at at the top end when accelerating hard, doesnt do it all the time though. would a boost leak cause this? Its only hapends when controller turned upto 1 bar. Boost only hits 0.9bar though and saftey is set at 1.1bar.

Driven a palmer audi also and that was something else. Drove a BMW M3 SMG and didnt like it at all.
