sounds like you blown th headlight fuse also its top line of fuses by accelerator peddle in the middle and its a 10 amp

i borrowed a volvo and could not work out why the lights were always on, till it was pointed out to me that all volvo's do it. lol

doent the more agressive ones give better performance if you have the right fuel and set up etc... otherwise they would be pointless lol From what i understand the mines and central 20 chips etc are pretty sought after.

Well i dont know what the difference is but somebody looked at the mapping on a consult and said it was very agressive, possibly told them to **** off or something lol

wasnt there a post a while back about adding some kind of thinners to your fuel or was that a wind up

see what you mean si as ive never thought i had a proble till your thread and the central 20 is a very agressive chip.

dont think ive had too much problem with min but ive never run it on a uk spec chip so dont know what difference it will make.

My car has a japenese performance ecu from Central 20 Racing Now i guess this is set for 100 ron fuel. So do I, Leave it in and continue to use optimax all the time it will be ok As above but also use octane booster Get the Central 20 chip remapped Sell the ecu buy a stock one and get that remapped. true, when i first got the car i tried it out a few times, and no matter what car you are in when you get to a certain speed the thought of "what happens if i get a blow out now" goes thru your head so i slowed down. I now normally drive my car on 0.5 bar boost as im a tight arse saving fuel lol.

weird thing is it wasnt doing it, then didnt drive car for week, got in today and though this feels weird. its never been smooth on gearchanges, 1st has alway thumped in and 2-3rd feels like ive put the bakes on, it gets better once car warmed up. This is the car 3rd gearbox, no i was thinking something to do with speed sensor? The steering is weird too its fine whn i first get into it and fells gine when i drive like a grandad. but give it some welly and it tightens up like its supposed to, but slow down and its still feels heavy.

I have noticed recently that my selector on my autobox feel loose and when i move it from Park to N it makes a horrible metal bashing against metal sound. the box has only been on the car for 2 months, do you thing something has come loose? Hope its not fecked as its always seemd to take 2 attempts when cold to select 3rd (no delay like before just feels like it changes gear twice). . any idea's?

mine did the same thing and was fixed as per earlier post by changing the ignition fuse, that had blown.

in the enfine bay at the back on the drivers side are some fuses, swap the abs and the ignition ones around and see if it then starts.

There not as good as the old ones from what i have heard. there is a company called Karma Imports in bristol that has a modified one, i kicked its arse a few weeks back LOL :)

wont get saftey boost as have boost controller installed. deffo a boost leak you can hear it when i boot it, but finding the blumin thing is something else.
