as a 300zx club,why dont we try and bring in the z31 owners too? Seems we just palm them all off, surley if were going to just cater for z32 we should rename the forumto Z32.co.uk?

Well, I think most car forums are for one individual model of car........this forum is for the Z32. Its as simple as that. I would help a Z31 owner as much as the next person, but its just not our field of expertise, so I guess thats why they get redirected.

 

Not many people would know they are called a Z32, so to have that as our website address wouldn't be much cop!

Does the club discourage Z31 owners? I know the Zclub cater for all Z's. But now you mention it I dont know of any Z31 owners that ever post on this forum?

I agree the 300zx.co.uk name is misleading, but not sure I agree about catering for Z31's. The Zclub already handles the Z31 to the point where an additional forum would serve no purpose and the differences between both the cars is so extreme that the Z31 knowledge would'nt extend to them.

 

Also associating the Z32 with the Z31 any further than its name suggests might be best avoided. :x: :rolleyes:

We do have a number of Z31 owners, but most of them live at http://www.zclub.net

 

This was started by people with Z32's for people with Z32's. We probably do unintentionally disuade them, but that's just because 99% of people here are Z32 owners.

there have been one or two Z31 owners asked questions on here before and we've politely directed them to the z club - not cos we dont like them but cos we probably wouldnt be able to answer their questions as well as the other guys.
