i had a copper drive into the back of me 2 weeks ago when i was parked up waiting for the kids....he made a right hash of getting into the parking bay behind me...and as he pulled forward ...crunch...i got out laughing...he was very red faced and apologetic...i said you'll be lucky to do any damage to me bud with your panda wagon as i got a high level tow ball and pin hitch...i was driving the wifes land rover disco at the time :D

he has a mandate...but only just...the popular vote came in at 52% for obama...first past the post counts skew the results to make it seem he is more popular...similar thing here in the UK though....back in the 90's more people voted for john major when he became prime minister with a majority of about 9 than voted for tony blair who had a majority of about 180!.....some historian noted that 50 key marginals in the UK have decided the balance of power for almost 60 years...unless you happen to live in one of them your vote counts for jack sh1t :D that said it's odd why so much is being made about the man's colour...he did have white mum afterall!...i mean we have had prime ministers since the dark ages and we've not yet voted for anyone other than a white man / woman...does that make the UK a racist or worse country...hey ho back to the day job :)

ai...whatever you do take pride! as to the dampner...its the pipes either side that leak not thing itself..tighten the pipe clamps up as first fix...if no good replace pipes...if the dampner goes wrong i think you get erractic idle or the engine hunts around etc...not 100% on that

ahh...sorry to hear that....yes engine went back in fine passed mot first time...done 700 miles since and only 1 coolant leak to show for my mistakes :D

all true fellas...but to be honest the stock tt auto beats the stock manual tt in a straight line i've owned both types and got a 2.5 mile dead straight test track outside the house the auto went to 100 quicker all the time...as to the corners the auto n/a i got is the most chuckable zed i've ever driven...select 2nd switch overdrive off foot down and flick between 2nd and 3rd all day all corners....fantastic fun very addictive...those who say autoboxes and corners dont work aint playing hard enough...:D

well you have the edge on me in the manual n/a test mate...never owned that variant...but it must be very slight as the n/a auto i got pulls like a train now TT man v auto...no debate its auto....:D

golden rule... never buy zeds for their fuel economy :D anywhere between 15mpg-30mpg basically autos quicker in a straight line thrash...manuals better in the twisty's

mark i hear the fire brigade gets burnt no matter what? :D on a professional level its all down to cash and resources, those with them can ride it out or bottom feed on the fallen....those without out...will crash and burn i'm afraid i see a lot of people who are asset rich cash poor which is a bad postion right now as asset managment still costs money regardless of any recession...the only assets worth a damn are ones you can liquify quicky....but all such processes have a transaction cost so there will be losses there too....a lot on the TV and radio is concerned about individual cases of which almost all of which i notice have their eggs all in one basket.... bad financial planning basically...i saw a 70 y old guy on panorama with £300k in halifax shares and that was his pension plan...!!!!

stephen hawking and the diving bell and the butterfly guy are incapacitated but they didnt go that far i think he was depressed...the rugby fella....which is understandable but i wouldnt want to see my kids top themselves or vice versa
