IIRC the atf fluid can go thick in cold weather and cause sticking with the level / sensor take the cap off the hicas reservior and check levels anyway

as i recall most subs are ok if you dont add sauce / dressing or extra cheese.....the telly did a prog on them and pret a manger / Mc'ds ....pret was far worse per serving also extra salt yet because they are made fresh on site they dont have to put any nutritional info on the boxes...the only info they have on boxes was the usual healthy bullsh1t....free range...wholemeal...bla bla...but their website does list the info heres a link Si for all the range http://www.pret.com/menu/sandwiches/

p1sser mate....similar thing happened to me @ 30mph lost the back end it whipped the car round and i met a hedge...i got a copy of the councils work log which showed they had been out gritting at 4am on the A-road so i dropped my claim against them...still reckon they missed the patch i was driving on but proving it is uphill struggle

it passed a mot...that was his defence...not good enough though hence the outcome

it was mentioned in court...but the factor to proceed / prosecute was on the mods he did

i meant to post this up at the time but just wanted to say to all those into modifying your zeds be extra dilligent and thoughtful with the mods you do esp to brakes, wheels, suspension set up etc...a man was recently found guilty for carrying out mod's that sadly resulted in a fatal crash (killing his own kids)...the key issues in court were the work to the car which he had done himself...this work put the car out of spec and rendered it un-roadworthy he was prosecuted on that basis by the police/cps...he will be sentenced later

if your saying you have hot water ok but no central heating or hot rads then its most likely the rad pump has seized up...happened to me a few weeks ago...check to see if the rad pump is hot...careful it might be red hot...if its hot then tap it with a light weight hammer...all over the casing to free up the impellar....also try changing the pump speed selector from 1 to 2 to 3 etc that might shift the blades as well good luck

i quite understand that mate....i drove around one winter with no matrix...it was outragous....hands like ice blocks....a good quality heater plugged into the fag lighter will heat the car nicely and save on your earbashing (to a certain extent)...matrix replacement aint a job for the faint hearted and can often take a whole day or 2...:mac1::D

i'd get a high power 12v caravan heater to tie you over till you sell / repair her mate....not ideal but just a thought

C300R was on 2 zeds i owned....crashed the first one:mac1:...transfered the plate to my spare zed....the 2nd was a red TT manual which i sold...still owned by a fella down south if i recall...not a member of the club though:duffer:
