My young family are my hobby at the moment, they do take up rather a lot of my time! But we have just started Geocaching - great fun and a good healthy outdoor pursuit for my eldest. Also enjoy cooking and sleeping, when I get time lol! Oh, and car detailing - obviously :D

Right, just popped out and had a good look and the passenger side targa is DEFINITELY wrong. I've just found that it's been 'made to fit' - the side bar (the painted bit) has been pulled away from the glass to fit, and then the gap filled in with black sealer. I thought a previous owner had just put some sealer over the edge, but now I see it's definitely to fill a gap. That explains the awful leak then. So, I need a passenger side swb targa please. In bayside blue. At no cost. Delivered. Today please. LOL! :D :p

No, that's the side that gaps! TBH there's hardly anything in it but now I've seen it it sticks out a mile to me, and they are definitely different. I'll have to get to a local meet with swb's and lwb's and have a swap around to see.

Yes, all UK cars are lwb and twin turbo - hence all shorties are imports.

Oh, it's the flatter one that doesn't seem to fit the centre bar correctly, but you're saying those are the swb ones. I would have thought the flatter ones are for lwb as the roof would be longer, hence flatter. Hmmm, confused.com :wacko:

I think I have two odd ones :(. One seems more 'bulbous' but fits the centre bar perfectly, the other is flatter and it gaps along the centre bar so I'm guessing that's the lwb one. Another thing to add to the 'to do' list!

Having had swb's and lwb's you'd think id know the answer to this one, but I don't! Are the targa panels different on shorties? I've just caught a glimpse of my swb through the window and the T tops look odd - one sits flatter than the other. If they are, this could be one reason why they leak so bad! Anyone know? Cheerz :)
