  1. I know your having a joust Richard lol! As if you have read my add you will see that I state the only thing I have added is the UK wider rears! I added the UK rears with brand new tyres in UK spec size, as I always like look of the wider rears and slightly dished appearance, however I still have the original rears/tyres that came with it and will go with the car.
  2. Still takes away from the originality of the car! The seat color combo and material, is unique to the Version-S, so replacing to leather would be a no no for me; plus would make the interior no different from any other Z as changing to leather no matter what style is quite easy these days. However I think if you tried to replica the OEM Verson-S interior, it would be more difficult!
  3. Do you think! I personally, and I'm not just saying this because I own it, but I would NEVER replace that interior with leather, It feels fantastic and for me would take away with the originality of the car. Thanks again for the nice kind comments Richard.
  4. Also depending on model/year. If you fit a UK cluster, that will delete the limiter and convert everything to MPH. Done this a few times on earlier Z's, series 1 and 2.
  5. lol. To be honest I wasnt even sure what they were talking about as the punctuation was so bad. But got the gist of it after reading a couple of times. Find it astonishing that people go out of there way to leave such comments.
  6. Didnt realise it was mentioned that much! Amazing though how many nice emails I have received, along with some very nasty emails believe it or not, and pleanty of childish stuff too. Just got a really silly email saying: "dream on may pay 4k i got the rare blue version at 5k"
  7. Yeah totally agree, but what's even more amusing is; how allot/most manufacturers continued on the "tape deck" right through to recent years! I have an 05 BMW, that has a tape deck up front and CD changer in the boot! Even the very last NSX's which was 05, had tape decks up front and optional cd stacker in the boot. So Nissan offering the CD "option" back in the early 90's for the Z shows that they were pretty much on the ball I think. From memory they made the CD player standard on Z's [in the uk] from the second edition on.
  8. On allot of the Z's I've had, I went back to the OEM setup; if the car had something aftermarket. Yes its an old setup, but for me the only one that looks right. I'm almost sure I have that same CD player in my garage too Gary. My 99 version-s has an oem system which I can only assume is quite rare and original to the car and the spec sheet from new.
  9. I only advertised it a week ago today!
  10. The NON turbo one I sold to Gio was pretty much identical. Same color and year and could be easily mistaken for my TT Version-S. So yeah I think it was that one you seen.
  11. Hi Gary, As I discussed with you, I really cant see this car getting much, if any use in my hands, its still sitting in the garage under the cover, and hasnt moved except for those recent photos for the add. Even the other cars have done no miles as I simply have no time at the moment to enjoy any of them. On the same note though, I'm not in any major rush for it to go. On the day I took it out of the garage to take the photos, I thought to myself, "your mad selling it" lol
  12. Think you may be wrong there! This is the first time I've officially advertised it, you may be getting mixed up on the non turbo one I had which Gio purchased.
  13. That is simply stunning! But I love classic cars.
  14. I'm going to get abuse for this, but I actually like the tweed!
  15. I got all 3 keys cut for £1.00 each! Your guy is expensive! lol
  16. Went through the same dilemma myself on my 99 Z, but just opted for leaving it as is [spoiler-less] But if fairness, it was true to my model. Couldnt bring myself or justifying drilling into the boot lid to add the spoiler. Plus I still think the original 90's spoiler is still the nicest.
  17. More important is to check the history and see if it had the 1200 mile running in service. Almost all of the M3 gurus will tell you not to buy one of it didnt have this service. Have a browse round the forums and even google running in service and you'll get the info.
  18. Is it this car: http://www.tradecarview.com/used_car/japan%20car/nissan/fairlady+z/7269632/ To give you a rough idea on price, that car would cost around £3000k landed in the UK all duties paid and on the road, give or take a few ££ depending on exchange rate and any work that may need to be carried out for MOT.
  19. Importing just about any car from Japan at the moment will be more expensive that finding one already in the UK. However if its something you really want, prepared to spend good money, then you could get a nice example from there. Have you a link to the car your after?
  20. Was waiting for someone to mention this. I seen it for myself and heard all the local stories and its really unbelievable!!

  22. Mike, just noticed you added the clear/white side repeaters! I'm usually not a fan of these but must say they look good against the color of our Z's!
  23. Finally you came out lol! Glad to see its now registered and your a happy man, was great meeting you and Gary and many thanks for a very pleasant transaction and also a bit of learning in the process lol Also great to know it has went a very VERY good home and will be treated with lots of care. Gary, if you make me a good offer for the TT, I may sell it! You may as well have 3.
  24. I'm thinking of changing my phone, I've had the same phone for around 8 years and what usually puts me off changing to another brand is moving all the contacts I have in my phone memory. Its not possible to copy to sim and do it that way as I have a couple of numbers under one name ie, mobile, landline, fax etc, the phone has the capability of sending all contacts, but it seems to only work if the other phone is the same brand; as I'm thinking of moving from Sony Ericsson to Nokia, then I doubt this will work. So whats the best and easiest way for me to send all contacts from my Sony Ericsson to Nokia??
