Cdjs are industry standard because they came out first and everyone got used to them, bought them and now expect them. Denon were just to late with the dn5000 which does far more and i prefer over the cdj1000. Technics were even later with their offering. I think if people hadnt got used to cdjs, but had gone straight from vinyl to the technics cd players then thats what everyone would be using. Incidentally cdj1000 are discontinued and the replacements are cdj900 or cdj2000 Speaker wise i quite like RCF art series or turbosound milan15

How much is it?

The bose amps were turned on by the stereo. Standard adapter plugs for aftermarket stereos tend to not include this cable. If you find the loom going to the speakers from the headunit it should have 2 wires for each speaker and one to switch the amp on ( and maybe another wire, ground? ) when you find the right wire splice into the stereo ignition feed or remote amp out, or elec arial out

seem to remember that if the wires that used to go to the cat temp sensors touch teh chasis then the light comes on, you may have moved them when doing teh conversion

The general section only seems to allow 4 pictures, but when you look at a garage with 4 pictures ( ie my slicktop) the layout suggests 6 photos would look better. Is 6 pictures an option?

Do the listening with a screwdriver test, very simple and very effective Also check the connector on the ptu is seated properly

Also , a lot of people buy stuff and don't get round to fitting it for a while ( or even years) i have bought stuff before ( here and ebay and elsewhere) that looked fine when it arrived ( and i would have oked payment or given positive feedback) but when i went to fit it sometime later it was broken / missing parts / not the right part etc Or worse you fit the part, give positive and it breaks the next day
