  1. But which gate to turn up at? It says you will get turned away if at wrong gate? What about turning up night before?
  2. whats the deal with the camping, I think I may have misunderstood? I assumed we would have a club camping spot at Silverstone where we would meet up and socialise the night before , and I could leave my tent up somewhere close to the club car pitch, rather than lug it round the track with me. looking at the website the camping seems to be at a golf course has anyone else bought camping?
  3. Oooooh , i like, wonder if i can afford

  5. The airbag is actually in the wheel The ribbon is the cable going to the wheel Its coiled to allow the wheel to turn As long as you havnt coiled it really tight then it should be fine
  6. Doesnt the 95 instrument cluster use different plugs to the 90? I thought you couldnt put a early cluster in a series 4 or above car Presumably you had to cut plugs off the loom and fit different ones?
  7. Manual vert (was auto) and manual tt slick
  8. Sorry, old age, senile, memory going. I guess it must have been, was sent something and it was easy to unscrew, swap over and send back Someone else had discovered problem before mine were fitted, i said i wanted to raise my fronts back towards stock and got sent new bits
  9. The early ones were to short to achieve stock height, we got some extention bits if i remember correctly, later ones were longer i think Also he used to offer two spring rates, as the people who first tested them on swb requested softer springs
  10. i have mine fits above the mirror (its a different shape) cable along top of window, down door pillar, along back of dash, picks up power behind stereo
  11. Drivers footwell , by your right foot, top row 3rd fuse
  12. I'm not sure if i'm meant to be upset because someone called my sexy wheels ugly, or because i do have ugly wheels and didnt realise, please help, perhaps a pole
  13. But someone called my car's wheels ugly, should i be upset too?
  14. If, you were doing the one of each type idea , then i would be happy to bring my vert. Its not in as good as condition as previous atendees, so it would need quite a bit of polishing. I,m aware there are a couple of better vert examples out there so not offended if you dont think its clean enough
  15. I havnt been for two years because i had to work, enjoyed it all the times before. So cant say if i will be or not. That said its a lot of money for two nights camping, so if someone came up with a better club meet i'd do that instead Ireland road trip
  16. I had very hard very low tein before, fitted meisters because i wanted a more comfortable ride and a slight prayer of limping over speed humps and i kept kicking the front bumper when working on the engine. They were also a lot cheaper that going back to stock. Whilst i'm much happier i still havnt found a happy medium between comfortable enough on ribbed / potholey roads and too bouncy on undulating roads But its great when on good roads or track to just wind up the damping a lot
  17. I have both I much prefer the NA especially at lower speeds I think the TT is only really greatly better in situations where you want to go from 40mph to 70mph instantly. if I'm on a dual carriage way being held up and I want to pull into the fast lane I need a run up and a gap in the na , whilst in the TT I just pull out and floor it want to buy a TT manual shortie that needs a little love?
