Picking up my new Z on monday and all wheels need a re-furb... both back are quite a bad but the pasenger rear is in a really bad state... ill post some pics asap. How much can a re-furb sort? anone got any before and after pics of a bad rim? And how much am i looking at?

just bought her on Sat.... not as good as he says... and engie is 100% standard with both rear wheels fooked (space saver on oneside) but will be a beautifull car with some nomey and TLC

And his was red-leather.. i loved his car though

I have the keys.... and he has a £400 deposit, getting the rest out the bank monday morning and picking her up then :dance: will be a slow drive home though!

Yea i know... he hasn't taken it off yet :rolleyes: She needs a bit spending on her as both rear wheels are really bad, the rear passenger one has a flat and the wheel is nearly past repair... so ill be driving home on a space saver :( both fronts need a refurb as well.... i may just buy a new set of rims... but im guessing they will be very expensive as they are so wide on the rear

Well after months and months of looking i have just purchased another Z, shes a UK, LWB, TT, Auto (but prob not for long!) black leather, In Black (the best colour) new tubs in 1995 although it doesn't say what they are on the receipt! so i may need some help on that later The bloke didn't know anything about her really, just had her for 7 months and now cant afford to run her! bodywork seems A1 and the engine runs fine with no tappet noise (95000 miles) and best of all she has the wide body kit!

ahhh no they were 9 or 9.5............. i think 245 is as big as you want to go with 8", no crail for me at the mo as i only have a nissan navara! not sure my 2.5tdi would be much good down the strip!

Had mine off for over 4 years with no probs, plus my dump valves sounded better!

i was runing 255/30/19 on the rear of mine with about a 15-30mm drop with no probs

welcome back fella... iv lost it as well and still hunting for a good one.... very hard to find now! Really regret selling mine now!

im probably going to look for one with lots of engine mods as ill want more power than my old Z & its bloody expensive starting with a standard engine! then look at the bodywork. there is a nice blue lwb wide Z on e-bay at the mo so that may be an option!

cerbera was awsome, but after some extensive research they are so expensive to maintain! looking at about £5000 min a year keeping it on the road

(sorry im using my phone)... in love with there red show car, although i would fit 99 spec rear lights & maybe lose the lambo doors. so wide arch it is! can the 2+2 look as good in wide? as i think both the ones on z centre r SWB. & does any1 have any idea what sort of money it would cost to get a car upto that standard?

well after selling my Z and trying lots of different cars! (cerbera 4.5 was 2 expensive to run and inevitably fix! jag xkr was auto and not as much fun as my z and AC Cobra was gorgeous but about as much use as a motorbike in terms of being even slightly practicle!) so iv gone full 360 and want another Z as i find the supra and gto ugly imo, after being on the Z centre web site i have fallen

well the bloke selling the TVR turned out to be a total ass.. sold it for £1500 more than i wone it for leaving me with a £11000 loan, a usless train ticket and a day off work i cant use! :mac1: iv also sold my Z so dont have a decent car anymore! :cry: some bloody people :mac1:

sorry to hijack the tread lads! spoken to the bloke, the figures are when the work was done in miles... the 2nd one is on as his brother has put it on for him as he thought i was messing him about!!! i said i wasn't handing any money over untill i saw the car... and he said that was ok! iv got the loan and paid for my train ticket down to pick the car up! some bloody people :nono: anyway i think its all been sorted now. there where a few problems with the car though. hes got it down as a 4.5.. when actualy its the 4.2 with a new 4.5 engine in it... so that made me ask some questions!
