I covered mine in carbon vinyl on the slickie and am gonna spray them on the tt with normal primer and basecoat and see how it comes out

So has rides still gone well try updating 3 zeds and remembering what you have done to them :) oh as well the new posts button keeps disappearing when I leave the forum in idle on my phone possibly doing it on the PC as well will have to check so annoying. I don't see how this forum has brought us up to date when so much has gone but ill wait for you to sort all that techno mumbo jumbo out me well im just better at fixing zeds :)

Ah bummer them things aint cheap. At least the rear end will be solid though with no presence of HICAS and the aceleration difference will be pretty noticeable from what i have heard :) win win. Id get as much done as possible while it is stripped down that far.

it also aides in quicker aceleration of RPM so just change gear quicker :D Are you fitting the whole subframe along with the diff?

ah i see what you mean then so SWB backboxes would be different to LWB ones as the mid sections are different sizes. With all that though i dont see any places with exhausts listed for SWB

but the shorties dont have mid sections just downpipe, decat then backbox. I had a feeling the decats would be the same then it would just be the X pipe or test pipe as they are called in the US that the LWB needs to make up the extra length

if they are straight they are for turbo version. I would get them on yours are bound to be old and rusty anyway.

With all my contacts i cant seem to find anywhere that does decat pipes for the shorties. From what i know downpipes and backboxes are the same for SWB and LWB but it all gets a bit different for decats. Also LWB has the X pipe bit in it to make up the extra length. So are the decats for LWB and SWB the same or where can i get hold of decats pipes for a shorty turbo? Marty

oh i forgot to mention there is another turbo on the other side :lol: Right car cleaned pics taken i will post in the pics section :) Popped up to show Baz when i got home as well. I remember someone saying stick to what you know so i got myself a 1991 Manual TT SWB 300zx targa top :) She drove perfect on the way home all the way from London so around 130 miles. Its great to have that power back.

Does anybody else find these website security type questions a PITA? Im talking about the ones where you have to type in 2 words with one being a made up word with maybe a comma at the end. Then half the letters are in negative format i struggle to read them sometimes lol and have to refresh a few times to get one i can read. I just unsubscribed from a newsletter and it made me do one what a PITA

i would have thought 4k for a good paint job though. I know a place that will wrap the zed for 1500.
