  1. If you want some of those Ford baileys ones check this breaker out and see what hes after http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-TWIN-TURBO-UK-SPEC-BRAKING-/120881908227?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1c251f8a03
  2. he means the studs on the hub fouling the back of the rim due to 15mm not taking up the full length of the stud :) This is the ones i have
  3. Its a contact of mine ive used before and just got another set off him. The 15mm ones didnt foul on my Gartmaier rims but i guess all are different. Ill PM you the guys email if your interested and i have a pic of the ones i had if you wanna see.
  4. for £75 you can get a proper set
  5. i got a universal from halfords worked on my twin plate too with a bit of playing about
  6. full tank 300 miles ish and about 70-80 to fill. Cars basically do around 20mpg. Not really an everyday car if you dont wanna spend some cash on fuel. Doesnt bother me too much i have 3 zeds and a truck plus getting a bike things like fuel prices dont come into my head. You only live once and if you wanna wait around all your life to own a sports car then you have missed out. Insurance should be cheaper than that on classic have you tried Lynbrook also try to put a limit on the mileage should bring it down.
  7. it takes a while for the subscription to go through on there until you can send a message
  8. I always associated bailey with fords and vauxhalls from the ads I saw from them that's why I wouldn't use them. For me I'd rather stick with the big jap names on parts like this and also not fond of cheaper imitation parts.
  9. the only people that wanna buy them is us lot and with so many for sale to sell you have to sit tight. People would rather get a rust bucket and put money into it than spend a few grand more on a better one. If you want the money from a zed then break it if your not willing to wait for a buyer or sell as a bargain in our eyes either way more off the road the rarer they become.
  10. What you need Dan is a na steering column as its different so it is just simply a wire that connects for the horn and it doesn't get mangled up. Be worth looking at a breaker to see the difference or getting someone to posts pics as I had the same problem you have with my old TT and ended up cutting things up to make it work.
  11. Koyo rad mocal oil cooler do it properly with quality parts or not at all imo
  12. im with car mad too don't like m3's. However would you do the conversion yourself as it is relatively cheap I'd say under a grand but then again get a zed that you like and will keep rather than one you will just get bored with and sell or break. Not much is selling anyway for good money so you would struggle to sell the na I would say
  13. I think there is very few full modded rear bumpers with the majority going with wide arch kits in fact I can't think of any in this country at least. Maybe Japan or US but then that's the cost for quality
  14. I'd have the engine out of it and put it in a proper zed a slickie of course :D
  15. Ciao Alex Weak point on the engine is the coolant passages to the rear cylinders which cause it to fail and turbo seals failing. There is places that can get the rear passages bored out though to cure this and just use uprated turbos. I believe this is all right but the other engine builders may be along too we have a few good ones on here Marty
  16. Doubt he will be bothered about the ad being pulled I'd say its more targeted towards the european market. People won't even pay 6k for a zed over here lol
  17. If you email the guy yourself he will be able to advise and suggest in regards to your own spec as all of ours will be different and what i require to optimun run will be different to both yours. With all the other electronic gizzmos i have i dont require some of the sensors plus running live mapping which will make it alot easier to manage. bbrown@aempower.com
  18. Aint got that far yet ive been speaking with Beau Brown over at AEM for the best way to run the ecu with my specific build
  19. I wasnt sure what you were running however i didnt plan to have any issues as im running AEM so no need for a MAF. Plus im pretty sure ive heard of people running the doolz on 1 MAF and not had problems. There is an AEM ecu on ebay at the moment
  20. You need something like AEM ecu that uses a MAP sensor instead of the MAF sensor which is what i was going to run with it. Failing that you need the dual MAF translator if your running standard ecu if you are having problems.
  21. Seen you today around 2pm just passing the car wash before the roundabout I was in my truck
  22. What about for parts sold via pm is there any feedback I can give like the old version?
  23. Im i missing it or is there no way of giving feedback on a transaction with a member on here?
  24. well i will be on a TT g/box then on my slickie so will be in the same boat
