was reading zed world earlier and it said that if PCV valves are faulty this can cause occasional smoke too. Im gonna get myself conzult cos im sure ive got a few gremlins in my engine

Its getting worse out there these days so sad :( Its great to see such great support all over the country for the forces now really means alot when you are thousands of miles away and you get such positive support. All we need now is the government to match with their support.

Ive got HID`s and what a difference it makes i can see at night. I managed to find a set on ebay that went for 30 quid i was well chuffed just gotta connect my earth wire back up as main beam uses the same one. Marty

oh ok is the egr valve in the middle of the engine im sure i remember reading it is somewhere. Where does the other end go to???

Another day another problem just had the right downpipe off to change the gasket as it was blowing and got a couple of problems need help on. As i was removing the O2 sensor wire i think i may off pulled off a pipe looks like vacuum advance for something. Im not too clued up on all the sensors so bare with me. It goes from the right rear of the engine to a sensor/valve in the centre rear of the engine see pics. If someone has a pic of where this goes or a good explanation ill be grateful as had a look under and over and couldnt find where it goes 2nd problem is i changed both turbos a couple of months ago and had major problems with the left with oil feed. Left is now sorted but as i have the downpipe off thought i would feel the right one and ive got play there and sounds deels like the bearings have some play up down not endfloat. Ive not really pushed the car since i put it back together but was playing round with the boost controller and got up to 14psi got mines ecu too. Is 14 psi safe with standard tubs? Just changed the oil too and used millers again so im reading about 40/50 psi when cold then down to about 30 psi when hot. 3rd problem is someone keeps drinking my brake fluid :( it is a problem that i have had for a while as when i check it the level is goin down. had a look at all 4 calipers and no leaks there so its gotta be between pot and calipers. Thing is i have looked for an oil patch and can never see one where it it all going :confused: Any ideas on these will be great help against my struggle to keep her on the road but like everyone else im not giving up :) Marty

Thanks for all the opinons and actually seeing pics with different spoilers and such makes it alot easier to decide what i will go for. Still havent decided lol but its good food for thought. :)

seen the smoked ones Baz and after seeing them fitted to a car must admit they do look nice. Think i will be after the clear or smoked ones just have to work out which i will prefer on my red Zed im thinking clear.

yes problem was trying to get insured on anything better cost arm and a leg as i was in Germany and had to pay european insurance. Now im back in the UK was able to get my dream Zed :)

Have heard some bad feedback about them pipes people saying that they dont fit correctly. Personally it has steered me away from getting them from 2fast2cool. There was a post not long ago showing them compared to the DTA ones and they dont even look shiny id stay clear mate. Marty

Hey anyone ahd the same problem as me. Ive got a HKS type 1 turbo timer and the mph reading is off by about half when im doing 60 it says im doin about 30. Also the RPM reading is high by about 500 compared to the rpm reading on the standard gauge. The signal wires are connected into the wires at the ECU and its all the correct wires. Not sure if a simple bad connection might cause this any views?? Marty

I think this is a pretty easy one to solve just wanted to confirm so i know before i go check the car. Put HID conversion on the car and main beam doesnt work now and thinking about the earth is onto the light and not the bulb for the dipped beam so im pretty sure the main beam uses that same earth that i have disconnected. Can someone just confirm this for me cheers Marty

i have used halfords for my red colour AH3 i think as it isnt off the shelf and they mix it on the spot. About 12 quid a can but the nozzles on the cans they use are very good and give a good even fine spray. Marty

im on 265/30/19 on the rear and no problem with 235/35/19 on the front if thats any help to ya Marty
