  5. Recently on tickover my cars been sitting at 1500rpm and is peeing me off so i thought id start by cleaning the panel filters inside the SUPER ARC INDUCTION BOX and long and behold i cant get the thing out iv removed the twin hose the maf and sensor but it looks like the bumper has to come out due to the size of the thing. it seems as if the hard pipes that join the twin hose are in the way is there any way off removing them rather than takin the front bumper off as imo thats a bit drastic  sorry to go on but im going to fit a cone filter at the same time hope u can help greg ps.. can any one shed some light on the tickover ting..ive cleaned the throttle bodies and due to clean the induction what else could cause this as if i put my foot on the go pedal the revs sit up and take ages to fall down and doesent rev smoothly or freely thanks

hi mate thats your discs mine were the same mine were that bad it was hurting my wrists no joke standard z brakes are naff !get a upgrade its probably both and your going to have to get 2 discs anyway, tracking can be done in a tyre centre for about £5 heres a website for a brake upgrage at a reasonable cost http://www.3gbrakes.co.uk pakages start from about £200 for grooved discs and pads :)

  13. thats my viscous fan on the floor  only joking was it an upgrade to an electric one bud or was it to save on weight :D
  14. yep v.nice and the number plates ok cum is good maybe u could be a porn star in japan !the reason i dident go down the skyline route was i hate the interior its cack, sad i know but at least with a z you get interior style, exterior style, and performance job done :D
  15. i would imagine chrisc is right but for a cheap clutch you could try these people about £90+vat ram@carparts-warehouse.co.uk but your probably best to pay £300+ for a good clutch rks street clutch etc im ordering one in the next few weeks good if your modding your z for more power :)
  16. Thanks for putting me on the list gary top-man :) :duffer:
  17. 36 greg :p im going is it ok to have a badge to :)

  19. ok providing the cars been chipped, does that automaticaly act as a delimiter therefor not needing to buy a delimiter blackbox thingy ma jig and if i replace the kph dials and replaced them with mph dials will it then read in mph if that doesent sound stupid  secondly how do i find out if the cars been chipped?do i get an after market boost gauge, and if it reads higher than what stock should then the cars certainly chipped ? :)
  20. as ive got a japanese import,as standard there limited to 112mph or 190kph correct yet how come if im driving down the motorway the needle goes all the way round to the 0mph and the rev counter is reading 7000rpm a seat leon cupra turbo couldent get noway near me! does this suggest my car has a delimiter already ` can i just buy some new clock faces EG 300kph any ideas on what may be the case! cheers greg
  21. have u got a link to one buddy :)
  22. wear a mask if you remove the underside blanket u might laugh but at least its peace of mind,i fell through a asbestos roof when i was a teenager :xxx: and its nasty s**t think im alright now though
  23. the saab 900 turbo after reading and watching the write up on one suggests reliability is good but the turbos lag like fook and dont kick in til about 4-5k rpm by then mr nova has left you in his mirror. A golf vr6 is pretty quick, its a hatch and there reliable and ok on fuel id personally have a pulsar gti-r 4wd and i think there about 210bhp standard with loads of low down power :) and good fun bit ugly imo though
  24. aghh sorry to butt in im after one 2 as my red z is still in good bodywork condition and want something to protect the paintwork from all the nasty english weather
  25. yeah im 99.9% sure probably easier to meet nearer cheltnham as its closer to northamton let us know when and where to meet up should be a good day out
