just had the car looked over and the noise is coming from the viscous fan,does this sound possible,maybe that explains the running of the engine after switch off,and wondering if its the viscous cupling,couid one of you verify this please cheerz. :)

:( just been to out to change the front tyres,and noticed a whining noise after a short run,stood at traffic lights,pulled away and whining noise through each gear 1/cant seem to notice a vacuem leak on the gauge 2/no sign of the dreaded blue smoke at idle 3/and she still pulls hard through the revs also something to point out is that a when i turn engine off,the engine still runs briefly for a sec then shuts off,dident do this before! also theres 52k on the clock not that it really matters they go when they go i guess!what tests can i do to determine whats wrong!im hoping its something less daunting than my tubs please help greg

thanks baz but im in the middle of replacing tyres,and a damaged bomex bumper and u know how much tyres cost,along with everything associated with the z,it was more about options thanks any how greg

as u can see i want to fit some gauges,sorry if the thumbnails more like bigfoot,im not sure hoew u scale pics down,any way what gauges shouid i get,ie..boost,water temp etc,and which are better mechanical,or digital and is there a mount for three gauges to go above the stereo unit that i have,as theres currently a gap and finally,boost gauge for eg..can this be fitted in to the existing stock gauge. appreciate differant opinions cheerz

get the tracking checked,mine was down to the wire on the inside of the tyre,and also a slightly warn track rod bush worth a look

hi all iv got a manual tt,which has a straight through stainless exhaust,and apexi air filter,whats the best performance mod to go for next without spending over the hill,and what wouid the bhp approx be with what iv got at the mo. i read some reviews and they state are cars are 300bhp and some say about 270bhp which statement is true cheerz greg i dont want to decat either ,or change turbos at the mo,christ these cars are expensive as it is :rolleyes:

front bumper is hanging off :( going to miss my one,looks the part but is beyond repair.My friends works in a bodyshop and is ordering some body kits made by trust, does anyone know where i can view pics of trust bodykits,just so i know what im getting b4 i order, also what can i do with my front suspension,as it sits to low at the front,hence the need 4 a new front bumper,the shocks are made by gab and there only ajustable by ascrew that sets comfort,not height what can i do thanks greg :)

hi mate i tried partco with that ref no and it came up £80 trade,told him someone got one for £48,he said that can not be right. Managed to get one through unipart had to order,but cost £57 with 2yr guarantee job done ;)

cars fine most of the time if i leave her for 2/3 days batterys dead or if i leave the lights on for 10 mins,engine off,weakens battery,must be the battery so is there any battery thats better than anouther! and is there an easy referance if i go to halfords for a new one,coz most things are not listed at halfords :mad: any suggestions wouid be cool cheers cheques in the post for subscription :D

yeh i wonder how long it takes to get to 150 though,probably be better at low revs being a 2ltr,plenty of low down torque!

the differance between import cars and uk spec doesent place to much on the insurance,the differance between n/a & TT are obviously way differant so for an n/a thats a lot of mo!
