  9. bottom end can be done whilst engine is still in,not practical as iv done it but doable,head gasket needs full removal and strip down so more timely to do TBH if you sell it with HG problems then most people will be put off,where as you sell it rebuilt it will attract a larger crowd of interest with engine damage £2000-2500 rebuilt £5000 so maybe worth shedding the extra money and making more money in the long run,just my 2p worth. regards greg z-tech can do your head gasket for approx 1200 inc water bypass gasket set and heads skimmed ;)

  13. check connections like coil packs are in properly CAS connection is in properly clean all injector harnesses do an ECU diag a few things can cause a missfire so best to start with the easiest first
  14. had a car yesterday with faulty MAF and went with a hunting idle,swapped MAF and all ok again checked all vac lines for any leaks?

  22. YEP quite possibly,they normally get blocked in the closed position,then cause build up in the ventilation systym creating more pressure,better doing it sooner than later otherwise seals can go aswell :(
