  1. bad TPS reading will cause gear change problems on an auto give long delays before changing and as you say make it jolt forward do the idle screw then TPS even reset ECU

  5. depends how soon the person driving stopped and what speed more than likely bent valves but the engine will need stripping down anyhow also may need new heads :( depends how much your paying
  6. as sarge says is it just the pipes from callipers or the main lines from front to back
  7. just do a water bypass,then again i have small hands and can do it very quick then all those silly hoses running under the plenum are bypassed and the turbos still get a feed
  8. precisely WTF is that about overtaking hgvs the same speed when me chunk chris greddy legrath chris c were in france there were 2 hgvs alongside each other doing 40mph on a dual carriageway,after about 10mins of beeping are horn we said aurevoir and went down the hard shoulder fookin class :p

    the R32 is the daddy of skylines lighter and more tunable probably the best of the GT-R range all IMO

  13. if you drop the base idle you can then correct the TPS output,also do a ecu diagnosis whilst your at it clean some conections as well with electric cleaner TPS MAF etc

  15. thats not the way you set your base idle!,tps as you said should be set to approx 0.44-0.45v even this shouldnt be used but is ok on the i.a.a unit at the back by the battery there is a screw that can be a ajusted to set required idle pic of unit. screw is shown in green hth greg

  21. mine is tiny police stopped me at least 5times have not mentioned it once,officer my 99spec bumper is made for a smaller plate and its an import :xxx:

  24. as martin said 15year old car expect problems if you buy one that has had a hard life,most of them have then there will be problems,you should keep some money aside 15year old turbos can fail at any time as with other common components,but buy a good one that has been looked after well preferably forum member ie jeff etc then you should get a good one,tread carefully, make sure you know what your looking at,take a knowledgable z owner with you who have some experiance,its a buyers market they can be had for cheap money,just be careful.
  25. had my TT FOR 18MONTHS not a single problem only a starter motor and the usual things you need like tyres brakes etc,not bad for a 15yr old car
