  12. whoever rebuilds it should be able to tell, especially if they are removing the engine, and just going from the sump and replacing bearings then,NO they wont be getting the block checked honed etc,as all the top half of the engine needs to be stripped,at best if the crank has been damaged or a bearing has welded to it,then the crank may well be reground,or it could be past repair,so id imagine if everything is ok,all they will need to do is replace bearings on the rods, the main end bearings rarely go so i should imagine it will be sump off and rod bearings replaced, fingers crossed no more damage is apparent.if there stripping the whole engine id be surprised if they can do that in 12hours,as nothing on 300s in straight forward, they could if they wanted drop the subframe remove turbo feeds, and remove sump with engine in situ, not much fun but can save time, and give you a report to what damage has been done HTH
  13. as legrath said brembo plain discs and porterfield pads or for a few quid cheaper mintex pads which are still v.good and last well will set you back between 250-£300 for front upgrade, also clean the calliper pistons up aswell, its all good and well having decent brakes but if the callipers are in need of a clean/overhaul-you wont get the best out of the brakes
