  5. daft question how do you get the MPG figure add cost-fuel-mileage
  6. your idle will be slightly higher after cleaning TBs as the ECU has to learn the new values, after a few hundred miles it will settle
  7. rich, why not plummit the extra few ££ and get a reliable one, instead of all these 2nd hand boxes :D then gumball is on the horizon :hyper:
  8. jwt chip is one of the safest around, hence why it may overfuel, rather than running lean
  9. stay away from superchips
  10. boost leak somewhere id imagine ;)
  11. we had a z in @z-tech a couple of months ago, with lots of teeth missing on it,luckily no damage had occured,a cambelt was fitted when it was imported, which was non OEM made by gatorade,so always use NISSAN oem cambelts
  12. i am right :D zeds dont have sunroofs  ;)
  13. TPS could do with a very slight increase,0.44-0.5v is ideal, doesnt sound alot but if you have an auto any slight change can effect gear changes and rpm/idle

  17. iv already done 5 calls PMSL
  18. DIY calliper pistons or piston may of seized and maybe a dust seal needs replacing, seal kits are about £30,its a case of lubricating the pistons and pressing them back in,with master cyl lid off repeat a few times until piston moves freely.if the piston/s have seized and will not budge with the above technique then an overhaul is required, should be ok though link on how to http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/caliperrebuild/caliperrebuild.html pads apparently the new red stuff pads are good, but so are porterfield, mintex, ferodo all reasonably priced starting around £60 a pair
  19. undo the drain plug,if it doesnt pour out its low ;) but if its leaking best bet is to drain it all, which is very gloopy oil more like treacle and replace it,if it gets to low,it could possibly cause more damage, like damage to the ring-gear and parts inside
  20. sounds like the manifold may be leaking which can cause the car to feel slow, but if smoking its likely the turbo has failed,is it smoking on 1 bank or both exhausts
  21. fuel pump fuse is in the engine bay, back left driver side, plastic fuse cover says fuel pump on it,just pull out the green fuse
  22. waterpump is a fairly simple job,all thats involved is to have the front of the engine stripped,ie..radiator belts, covers c pulley turbo idealy is engine out job some have replaced the passenger turbo in situ but i dont recomend, and idealy whilst the engine is out,you may aswell replace both turbos, save yourself a load of grief Labour costs would be anything from £500 upwards
