  1. new TPS needed by the sound of it,if you have loosened both screws to it and still cant get a decent reading then id change the tps 0.5v should be ok,although on the autobox a slight change in TPS readings can incur slow gearchanges and hamper performance
  2. how you finding the supra then jd?
  3. :D funny you say that i thought the same when i heard it ;) probably on the hash when he recorded it
  4. odd,if your sure your multimeter is fine, try another one just incase,or and borrow someones TPS as a try out greg
  5. must be a typing error as link no worky ;)
  6. series 2 onwards have lit up rear markers aswell,as mine did,
  7. plug stays connected with engine running place live probe to middle white pin, then earth the negative probe to the battery, then ajust it idealy 0.44v- 0.48v
  8. the problem is,it could take 2hours or 6hours depends if the old downpipes come off with no hassle from the turbos, the top bolts on the driverside turbo are prone to snapping and if both top ones snap it can be game over but,if patience and lots of wd40 and working the bolts in and out until they free up,but as said at a rough cost at a garage would be 4hours labour just as an approx guess,5min job with the engine out :D the best way is to have straight through pipes so they just bolt on to the existing downpipes,no cats and less hassle of fitting divorced!IMO
  9. yep agree with you,but if you put this in the 1st place and aslong no one was hurt apart from there ego, then the response would of been better ;)
  10. get a new multimeter,as im pretty sure this is the problem, theres no way it can read 13volts,unless it was getting a surge from somewhere, try a decent multimeter
  11. its all approx readings can depend on how the cars running and wether you have any air vaccuem leaks 2800 for an auto 3200 for a manual all rough figures though could be slightly more slightly less
  12. keeps the belt tensioned ;) important to be changed along with belt,as if it fails the belt will no doubt fail also hence why it is done at the same time
  13. i bet you do every night when you give her your pork chop
  14. rule of thumb every 60k miles tensioner is required seperatly ;)
