Starter motor removal
its common for the starter bolts to loosen over time and starter doesnt sit flush to bellhousing causing it to make that horrid noise, may be the starter but dont condemn it until you have checked that if left for to long it may well damage the flywheel ringgear which is gearbox out obviously :(

Starter motor removal
jack up car support on axle stands remove live lead on battery, otherwise YOU will get a shock LOL discconect plug from starter motor grey one IIRC whic if still there will be supported by a bracket remove 10mm remove lower bolt 14 mm theres also a nut above that at the top of the starter, remove that! use a ratchet with short extension and a uj to make life easier, last thing you want to do is round it off! now its ready to pull out from ringgear its much easier with exhaust off,but if you wiggle and manipulate it,it will come away from bellhousing, you can remove the heatshield on ther starter but you shouldnt need to 3x10mm bolts let starter motor hand down, then remove main power lead from battery which is attached at the back 1x12mm nut job done starter motor removed HTH greg sounds long winded but 10-15 job,not the exagerated 2mins :)

islamic cartoons
i am certainly not a racist, and in most cases its the minority that spoil the general muslim comunity  take for instance if the whole country did a poll wether we should or should not go to war i bet most would be against war,but as per ****ing usual theres no freedom of choice, are lives are put at threat due to a selfish govenment  it does boil my piss though as this small minority ruins it :( oh well look after your own is what i say

to replace the det sensor its plenum off fuel rail etc but you could get a resistor and bridge it across the det sensor plug cost about 50p if that, only downside is you wont hear any dett do a seach on how to then safety boost will be removed

Please Help.
common problem when from cold on first startup is valve stems, but could also be the breather systym or as said worn seals on the tubbies, when your up mate,we can look it over :)

Think my zed may be buggered. :(
si if the car runs fine then a compression test should be within spec,it may be down slightly on compression, but unless you had new rings then thats how it is however you have only replaced 1 pcv then you have to remember there is 1 more pcv and 3hoses have the lot replaced, even the ones that go to the hardpipe-intercooler,as your getting the main seal sorted, then im sure the turbo oil feeds and return will be checked for possible leaks as with the rear cam seals and covers etc if it smells of oil and there is no smoke from zorsts other than condensation, then id put my money on just a general leak which will hopefully be sorted, when its being checked over
