  1. I had thought of this... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-Reverse-Action-Damaged-Spark-Plug-Thread-Tap-Chaser-Restorer-14mm-MS003/291171025832?_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Db52800d19ff741938da3f0929706d4e5%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D291171025832&_trkparms=pageci%253A0e39b96e-4ec4-11e7-9e51-74dbd180cbad%257Cparentrq%253A980323e815c0ab6b76917483ffff6a41%257Ciid%253A1
  2. Am I correct in saying that the spark plugs are a 14mm thread?
  3. Yes, something akin to that, as I said - only a couple of threads in - so maybe a cleaning of the threads rather than a full scale re-tapping.
  4. Would this do the job? https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/cht261-spark-plug-thread-chaser/?da=1&TC=GS-040210261&gclid=CLeyreTstdQCFQ0R0wod0N8Nxg
  5. I've inadvertently mis-threaded a spark plug, thought it was in further than it was :censored: How do I recover from this act of stupidity? It is only the top two threads - I think. That'll teach me to be more careful!
  6. Okay, sorry to hear that - hope that he improves. We should probably give today a miss then.
  7. Fine with me.
  8. I'm okay for that...
  9. Anybody turning up for this ? I'll go along anyway - just in case someone else turns up :hyper:
  10. Any night is ok for me....
  11. Yep, I'm okay for the 14th also.......as long as you don't mind a Z31 coming along :cool2:
  12. Great, we'll need to see about a meet - soon.
  13. That's been a good while now, what's still to be done?
  14. Nice day for a wee run to Falkirk :innocent:
  15. I've got one running, quite happy to meet somewhere, anywhere (within reason)..... :)
  16. Cheers Andrew - that looks like a very comprehensive guide there.
  17. Ok, I must get this car sorted out, due to family problems and me buying a project Z31 Turbo, my Zed has been confined to my garage for the past eighteen months  It has always lost a lot of water (when it was running) with no obvious leaks apparent, time for a water pipe bypass - I guess. I'm quite happy to do mechanical jobs but haven't ever looked at pulling the plenum............ Any help, advice and/or hints, tips or warnings would be very welcome  Thanks in advance - Andy
  18. I'm up for a meet, anybody interested in this Sunday...........or any other day?
  19. Now I'll have to be on the forum more often :)
  20. Hi Robert, the Zed's in the garage...still, I've had my time occupied with a major family problem, which took precedent over playing with cars for over a year. I then (possibly foolishly) rescued a neglected Z31 Turbo (manual) and after a good bit of work, now have it on the road. I was hoping to let you guys see it before I move it on.
  21. So, anybody fancy a mini-meet this weekend?
  22. I don't know, I disappear for a wee bit, come back and we still struggle to have a meet :)
  23. A very nice shade of blue that is  Here's a pic of my ARC slam panel.....
