  1. tbh mate, the stock fuel pump is a pretty reliable beast and if it is on it's last legs you'll be able to pick one up from here pretty cheaply. Once you get your vid up we'll have a better idea of what's going on.
  2. Report them to Trading Standards mate, that's a shocking service.
  3. iirc that only happens if you've had Dazvert in your zed?
  4. Are you sure it's the Fuel pump? The ABS pump is in the boot and you may also have an Amp in there as well. Could be one of them humming.
  5. They are m6x1.25 and about 12mm long mate. HTH
  6. Good luck Baldrick...lol
  7. Nice looking z you've got there and welcome to the forum :thumbup1:
  8. Your best bet is to look through autotrader and pistonheads mate, chances are that thats all the insurance assessor will do to come up with a value.
  9. Drivers side of the engine bay, roughly opposite the oil filler. HTH
  10. Yep, that's a goner :( Gutted for you mate. That corsa must have been travelling some to do that damage.

  12. spot on matey..lol But a friendly one :)
  13. Always a worrying time getting a zed of a flat bed, helps when the operator handles it like a boss :thumbup1:
  14. The galant is a solid good car mate :thumbup1:
  15. That's a very nice rear end you have there bud :thumbup1:
  16. That's the way mate, protect the zed at all costs..lol Mine slide of the front ramps while I was jacking the rear and my only thought was to get between it and the garage to prevent the backend being stoved in. Got flattened by it but no damage to the car so all was well :) learnt a lesson that day.
  17. true ;) Sorry mate, I know bugger all about the civic but I'm sure our learned members will be able to help :)
  18. Hate to say this Nics but my first thought was "looks like a hearse" lol
  19. What I did was; Get a bit of 2x4 and use it as a support across the gear lever hole in the cabin. Drop a rope through and loop it round the back of the box. Lift the back of the gearbox up via the rope and tie it off round the wood when your near the top of the hole. Now you can jack or lift the front of the box and get it into place without worrying about the rear end being to low. Probably could've explained this better but hopefully you'll get what i mean :)
  20. Looks like I picked the wrong week to give up me crack pipe..:cowboy:
  21. It's supposed to be harder than quitting heroin I read somewhere.
