  1. Clarkson said in the episode with the zed in it that "it looks like a porn stars car"
  2. Had to replace it mate. The old one had a massive dent in the side :wack:. The car will be getting a full respray. I've got a jdm smoothed rear bumper and 99 spec spoiler to go on as well :thumbup1:
  3. REALLY wish they would stop blowing them fooking trumpets!! It's doing my head in. Just like the winter Olympics with those sodding cow bells :death:
  4. Tanks out getting a few coats of zinc :sailor:
  5. Well he does say it's chipped! :wack: Those ebay resistors in a box easily add 200hp to any car.. :clown:
  6. Already planning to mate :hammer:
  7. Your best of using premium 99 fuel mate but the car will run on 95.
  8. AC compressor? PS. OS is the drivers side mate..lol :smartass:
  9. That's what I've got mate it connects at the back. I'll stick your name down :thumbup1:
  10. After looking at getting a HICAS PS fluid bypass pipe from Z1 and being told it would be $40 for posting (not to mention $35 for the pipe, admin fees and tax when it arrives!) I've decided to make my own. It will be a threaded steel tube that the pipes from the solenoid can be joined together with. This will allow me too remove the solenoid and all the piping that goes to the back of the car. The tooling for this will cost me about a £100 plus materials. Due to this I was wondering if anybody else would be interested in having one for say around £12 to £15 ish. I won't be trading in these but am prepared to make a few extra for club members to try and cover my costs. Stick your name down if your interested, but I'm not ready to take orders yet. I won't be holding you too it if you change your mind and I won't be talking any money in advance. Mods; Hopefully I haven't broken any club rules by putting this thread up. If I have then feel free to delete thread. Cheers all Dave 1...Dannzx 2...Baz 3...Zedwizz 4...Paulbrem 5...Wide Arch 6...Rich666 7...Robhughes7470 8...WelshZ
  11. is the rubber cracked or any sign of it leaking?
  12. thats too small mate. It's only 45mm, the mongoose is 57mm quite a reduction there.
  13. looks like they don't make them for the 300  here's one for a vectra similar shape. http://www.scorpion-exhausts.com/Cars/search3.php?model=337#bot
  14. They used to be the mid range system to go for. As I said mine is fine but quiet untill you give it some, doesn't sound farty at all. Don't know what you could do to make it idle better except loosen the the bolts at the cat to make it blow..lol
  15. Glad I bought mine when mongoose were still making them if that's what they're like now! sad really
  16. Welcome matey :) ps. How did you get 4yrs no claims when you've only been driving for 3? Or have I read that wrong.lol
  17. Mine sounded fine mate, it is a quiet system though.
  18. Yep, looking forward to it :tongue_smilie:
  19. The shock is I don't have any :cowboy: lol Well a bit of surface :detective: Finally got round to dropping the rear sub frame today. I'm really chuffed with the state of the car underneath. Sills are solid, there is a 50p size hole on the N/S side but that has been removed and treated (inside as well) brake pipes are fine with just a bit of surface rust but I will be replacing the worst of them. Strangely the HICAS pipes are really rusted, don't know how these have gone but the brakes are still OK? Not that it matters as I'm ditching them. The rest is just surface rust which I'll be removing and then treating and undersealing the whole back end, ready for my newly rebuilt spare subframe :gunsmilie: Couldn't really get round the other side for pics as there isn't enough room.
