I sheared off the two studs on my drivers wing. To fix it I drilled out the old studs, tapped the hole and screwed in a couple of bolts. Held them in place with some resin. There is just enough metal left after drilling to create a small thread. Job done. HTH

I'm in the process of removing the old engine and autobox to replace with new engine and manual box. I was wondering how easy it would be to use the old autobox rad to cool the engine oil instead of the little one built into the coolant rad? Is it worth doing? and if not can I remove the tranny rad and increase the airflow over the coolant one? Or should I just leave alone?

iirc the Supra TT came out after the agreement ended. In reality the earlier cars were just quoted as being 276bhp but I think all the manufacturers pushed the rules a bit, hence the zed having 300 but booked at 276.

I've seen a few concept pics of the 300zx in development and they do look similar. The drop in BHP would have been because of the gentleman's agreement between Japanese car manufacturers to limit cars to 276BHP.
