I loosened the bolt holding the driver side engine mount in place and she's in :dance::nana2::nana2::dance: Thanks to all for the advice especially DaveMac for giving me the idea. All is well on Planet Steams now..... :lol:

No mate, had a good look around and nothing is getting in the way. If I line up one mount with the bolt on the rubber engine mount then the other side is about a fingers width away from the bolt. it's as though the rubber mounts are to close together? Doesn't matter which side I line up the same thing happens :wack:

How do you get the engine to line up with the mounting bolts? I can only get the drivers side one lined up but the pass side is a good inch away and goes on the inner side of the engine mount meaning the bolt is missing the hole :angry: I spent 5 hours yesterday trying to get the engine in but no matter what I tried it will not line up properly. I was thinking it must be a bit uneven when being lowered in. So today I bought a load leveller and have spent another 4 hours trying to get the ******* in, but it still won't go with exactly the same results :censored: I can't see what I'm doing wrong or why the f**ker won't go in properly. I've undone the steering rack and removed the turbo hard pipes so they aren't catching anything. The engine mounts look fine. Help I'm at loss what to do and it's doing my bleedin' nut in :crying:

I've deleted mine but the engine isn't in so can't say if it's made any difference.
