  1. I use http://www.lifesure.co.uk can't remember whether their age limit is 25 or 30 though ...

Month or manufacture, original colour, auto/manual, no of seats, engine type and probably more.
  3. I'd guess that's your 'client' address, rather than your ISP address. You may also be using M$ Internet Connection Sharing if you have more than 1 machine.
  4. Nope, that restriction is in the ECU, so you either frig the signal that goes into the Jap spec clocks and then onto the ECU, or you fit UK spec clocks and then change the ECU.
  5. What I'm saying is what I said. Don't be paranoid - you're not the only SA in the world ! LOL :D
  6. You look to me like someone who is connecting through Tiscali. The address you mention below is in the private or non-routable range and would not show up on the Internet.
  7. Yeah - he also went to some lengths to hide his identity and (at least) appeared to come though a South African site, but that's not too difficult if you're feeling creative.
  8. Hmmm, yeah - looks like it could well be an offset issue.
  9. Surely that should be 225/50/16 for the front and 245/45/16 for the rear. Not suggesting that's the problem but it's not 'right'. Is it possible that you already have lowering springs ?
  10. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/1/index.html http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/index.html A'PEXi is the Daddy !
  11. Yes there is a test and can I bloody find it ...... I have posted it in the past and I know it's on the UK Supra forum somewhere, but as I don't even know what the URL is then I don't know where to start.
  12. Seen it, done it - easy job. However, in my case it wasn't a direct swap, may have been a SeriesI/II thing, so what I had to do was remove the instruments from the case and swap them over. Aside from that no probs. Also to my knowledge there is no fog warning light because Jap cars have no fog lights. I presume that on a UK car the fog light switch is where the driving light switch is on a J-spec and that the switch lights up in the same way.
  13. You can also use Connolly Hide Food - available from all sorts of boot & leather shops etc.

I can tell you a whole bunch of stuff if you send me the full chassis number - use email or PM.
  15. To be honest I wouldn't worry about it too much. The gauge (or rather sender) is so inaccurate that you don't really know where you are. And I have never personally heard of an oil pump failure. You don't say which grade of Mobil-1 you're using, but I would avoid the stuff that is really thin.
  16. Easy - get this fella to do it :- http://www.before-n-after.co.uk/
  17. A Zed isn't a light little buzzbox like a VTS, they are deceptively fast, rather than scary fast. Try the aceleration from say 80mph upwards, thats when you really appreciate the power. And if it's an auto and it's done a few miles (like more than 30K !) check to see whether it has an external gearbox oil cooler - you know it makes sense.
  18. Too right - looking forward to being a rich w@nker ! Dream on .... BTW Ferraris are pants, I'd have a Lambo and a TVR for rainy days and V B-H as a chauffeur ! ;)

Yeah too right !! Serves you right for fitting one of Jeff's 2nd hand belts anyway (does it say Hoover on it ?) LOL ;)
  20. Well surely the turbo is applying positive pressue virtually ALL the time it's spinning, it's just a question of whether is providing enough to counteract the negative (vacumn) that's already there. So all you're really doing is measuring the acceleration on say quarter or half throttle. Don't worry about it - just enjoy it !
  21. Well I happen to know someone who did exactly that about 20 years ago and yes she did survive but at the cost of a number of months in hospital, a few days in a coma, many broken bones and a distinct personality change afterwards ! She had an old Triumph, a Toledo or something like that, don't remember what the other car was.
  22. I think the UK distributor is Zedworld, but the contact for the ConZult seems to be Danny. Search for his posts.
  23. I think the Stillen ones are just rebadged K&N's (like JWT too). The best combination of airflow and filtration are the Apexi, have a word with Smithy, he may still have one left at a bargain price.
  24. Yes I have it on my car. It's a snug fit, but the filter area is huge. Probably not much different than any of the other aftermarket filters in reality, but the paper elements are very cheap to replace.
