What year is my Z?
There's a page on my site about it, but if you can PM / email me the VIN then I can tell you the month of manufacture from the Nissan CD.

Was Di Killed?
Now I like a good conspiracy theory but if I planned to murder someone (who probably flies 4 times a week on private planes) I wouldn't choose a public place, followed by the press, whilst driving in a Mercedes (which is built like a tank). etc

Garmin Street Pilot III
I have an eTrex Vista, which is kind of similar, you can download up to 24Mb of map data to it - very useful. I also have a bluetooth enabled GPS, which has a shite display but along with a a laptop or PDA can do the full screen moving map display etc.

4 wheel alignment
You can pay for people who play with expensive machines or you can use someone who knows the tape measure and wood method and can use a calculator ! SE did mine (Pete personally) and they got it "right" when the clever machine at the previous place said it was close enough to spec to not bother messing with it, after having charged me, and still left me with uneven tyre wear !

Commissioned Drawing Of My Z
Bloody hell, handbags at dawn again - not been like that for ages here ! LOL Anyway, Matty, assuming that the drawing is good, then you'd better get your rear wheel camber checked out ! LOL :D

MSN: Watchout for this virus !
Jitux.A worm hits MSN Messenger http://security.itworld.com/4340/040105jitux/page_1.html A new worm targeting users of Microsoft Corp.'s MSN Messenger software has squirmed through the instant messaging (IM) application. The Jitux.A worm comes in the form of an instant message inviting users to click on a URL (uniform resource locator). By clicking on the URL, users download the jituxramon.exe file, which then becomes resident in their computer's memory and sends new messages containing the link every five minutes to all contacts stored in MSN Messenger. Jitux.A has no other apparent destructive effects, nor does it cause changes to the system configuration, according to Panda Software Inc. Panda was among the first to detect the worm, which began spreading rapidly on Friday, largely in Portugal, Spain and Mexico. The malicious code is compiled in Visual Basic and runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 200 and XP operating systems. Several antivirus vendors, including Network Associates Inc. and Symantec Corp., updated their products and recommend users update their antivirus software and scan for the virus. Jitux.A isn't the first worm to wiggle into popular instant messaging networks, particularly MSN Messenger. More than 60 IM vulnerabilities have been published, according to security researchers from Symantec. They range from security holes that could be used to crash IM clients in denial of service (DoS) attacks to those that allow attackers to install and run malicious code remotely on computers running the vulnerable IM clients.

Where is that wheel size comapreing site?
Nope, me neither .... My posts tend to be fairly concise/abrupt, so it's likely to be precceded with something like "Try this :-" and then the link ....

Where is that wheel size comapreing site?
Do you mean this one :- http://www.mindspring.com/~toy4two/tire.html Right now I can't find the other one that allows you to display diffrerent wheels against a pic of your car. I'm sure I've posted the link before though if you search.

m.o.t this week.
An import should have a non-cat emissions test and as long as the car is running correctly it will pass that test easily.

NZR: CDRW media
To set the MP3 tags on the files use a piece of s/w called CD2WAV32 to do the ripping. It downloads all the track details from an online database automatically - and it's free.

ECU Chip
Yup, 70bhp will make a noticable difference, however that additional power comes mainly from raising the boost, not much from the the altered ECU maps. What the new map does is make it safer to run the additional boost.
