  1. Which is kinda what I said, I think. I'm ok with doing it this way. Right now I don't think we want to spend £50 per month on hosting videos. How many links are we talking about ? This could be done a really low tech way, by you maintaining a list of links in a sticky post.

  3. That'd be great. With our new logo, rather than the old one - even beter. Cheers.
  4. Not trying to be rude, but did you really think you'd get a different|better|more interesting answer when it's already been asked a hundred times before ?
  5. Yeah, my front pads are shot to shite too - LeMans and back really finished them off. Hanging off fitting the new Porterfields though in thet hope that I'll get the full Skyline setup.
  6. ROFLMAO :D
  7. Any DIY superstore, or http://www.screwfix.com etc

  9. I reckon the guys who did mine would be able to do it.
  10. Yeah, I'd tend towards wiper motor.
  11. I think all colours fade, although some are worse than others.
  12. A horse goes into a bar and the barman says "Why the long face ?"
  13. It's very unlikely that the colour will still match exactly, yours will have faded over the years. For a perfect match you'll have ot get someone to mix it up for you. When the front of mine was done they had the correct colour code, with about 20 shades and even then it was adapted slightly. Perfect match though.
  14. From: http://go.theregister.com/news/http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/07/19/gatso_deaths_link/ Fatalities rise in speed camera hotspots The UK government recently suspended the deployment of more speeds cameras pending the outcome of of a University College London probe into whether they actually save lives. We have no doubt, then, that the investigators will be taking a close interest in the Motorcycle News revelation that road deaths have risen dramatically in those areas favoured with the most Gatsos. According to the MCN figures - joyfully reported in today's Sun - Hertfordshire saw a 24 per cent rise in speed camera numbers between 2003 and 2004. In the same period, road fatalities rose by 34 per cent. Likewise in Wiltshire, camera numbers went up 14 per cent, and those killed 22 per cent. In County Durham, meanwhile, a lone Gatso oversaw a 22 per cent drop in fatalities. The Sun is also delighted to report that in North Wales, where "Gatso fan Chief Constable Richard Brunstrom has a league table for traffic cops", 56,247 speeding tickets were issued although this had little effect on safety, with an 18 per cent increase in road deaths. The reason? Simple, says safety expert Paul Smith: “Crashes are avoided by making a safe plan based on what you see. Cameras move attention away from hazards to speedometers.” ®
  15. Mine has no gearbox in it at the moment !
  16. It is truely awesome. Will be even beter when full details has been loaded. Getmapping are doing something similar, but the browser part of the Google gizmo is amazing in comparison.
  17. Yes it had and the sub record had been updated but it didn't seem to have changed your status from Registered to Subscribed. Dunno why, this has hapenned several times recently. I've done it manually now, but I think Mike may have to look into whether we have some sort of database synchronisation problem.

  19. Yes I've seen this kind of thing before. There was a guy who worked at the Stock Exchange who managed to broadcast a (Harry Enfield) Stravros impression over the trading floor - he was on the street outside within 20 minutes. And where I work a computer contractor accidentally broadcasted a test network message to everyone one site, rather than just his mate. Unfortunately the test message was "*****cks". He left rather quicker than he initially planned. Let that be a lesson - the word "test" makes a good test message, especially when you're not sure where it's going !
  20. Yes, it's an idea that has been discussed in the past but never quite come to fruition. The Z Club do this. I guess the difference is that our membership is driven soley by the forum subscription function (and largely automated via Paypal) and theirs is presumably some sort of manual system whereby they send out subscription reminders and then send back a membership card once payment has been received.
