ECU reset?
It will re-learn but may take a little while, so a forced reset would do no harm at all.

Blackberry Playbook
A friend of one has one and he loves it. I guess it saves you having more than one data contract if you already have a Blackberry. http://www.engadget.com/2011/04/13/blackberry-playbook-review/

finally got my family home
Haha, normality will resume soon, only it will be nothing like the "normal" you used to know. Take it easy and be calm, it's pretty straightforward really.

I renewed - Where's my access gone
What access are you talking about ? You show as subscribed now. Additional forum membership, such as Mod, REO access etc can sometimes be wiped by the re-sub process and need to be reapplied manually.

bit of a technical question
I'm assuming it's petrol and not diesel. Typical cause of this is the ignition coil pack breaking down when it heats up, I had the same problem with a Citroen I had once.

The important thing thing is the new version of the software, the colours can change whenever we feel like it. Great work by Jaikai anyway.

help needed buying a BMW E39 530D
Turbos on those are not a big worry, same as my 330d which has 160,000 on it. I wouldn't have thought you'd go a lot above the current price, perhaps £3,500 max. I reckon my 330d Touring is only worth about £3k and that's a year newer and tourings always fetch a better price.

stupid question about Earth kits
It's kind of 98% nonsense because the earths the cars have from the factory provide all you need. However, they may be benefits on old cars, like ours, when lots of the connections have got a bit grotty and no longer have a totally sounds electrical connection. Claims of improved fuel economy are going to be difficult to justify .... So you could either clean up all your existing connections, which admittedly are hard to find reach etc etc, or you can bung extra wiring on top and hope that the "floodwiring" approach makes a difference ...

Bluetooth Android Conzult Software - NikoZ
Yeah, but there aren't many 1996+ cars on here ! Plus ODB2 "standards" seem to be a little variable until approx 2004/5.
